The house was bustling as we prepared for not only the ball, but the arrival of my family and Colins. They were coming to stay a week before the event. I was so worried, that his mother might think I wasn't keeping the home well kept or being a bad wife. Currently I was in my office looking out the window checking off things down my list. Mary who keep the house running before we lived here. "Mary did you make sure all the rooms were set ups like I requested I just-" I was cut off by arms circling around my waist and kissing my neck.
"Darling you must be calm." I turned to my husband and put my head to his chest. "I just don't want mine or your mother thinking I'm a bad wi-" before I could finish I was brought into a kiss. "Don't say that, you are the best wife and the love of my life, my mother will be impressed and so will yours. Now come eat they will be here soon."
I listened and we sat and ate lunch in the parlor, and then I headed to our room to get dressed. "Honey can you help me with this necklace." I said as I was sat at my vanity looking at Colin through the mirror. He was buttoning his shirt as he walked over. Some of his chests was still exposed. He bent down and moved my hair to the side slowly, and began to kiss my neck. "Mhh, Colin come on stop our families will be here soon." He gave me a little bite causing me to yelp, he then button the necklace.

After getting ready we headed down stairs and to the front where the rest of the staff were gathered. Colin and I waited in anticipation and when their carriage pulled around the same time. My family, meaning my brothers ,mother ,and father all stepped out.
I smiled and made my way down the stairs and into the arms of my family. "Oh honey we've missed you. Look you are glowing" My mother said as she hugged me, but then I was pulled into the arms of my father. "Yes my little flower you have been missed." And I couldn't respond to either of them because I was then pulled into a bear hug from my brothers.
"Oh, sister you look old." Francesco said and I punched his arm and leaned into Ren. "Well you look lovely as always." I smiled and hugged him. "Nissa!" I turned just to be crushed in a hug by Hyacinth and Gregory. "Well hello!" I laughed and then I was brought into a hug by Kate. "Well Kate it's nice to meet you, surprised Anthony actually got married." She smiled and said, "I know, I'm so sorry you couldn't make it, it was last minute." I waved her off, I didn't care much, if I'm honest I'm just happy, he's happy.
Walking to Mrs.Bridgerton I hugged her. "Oh, Anissa you look beautiful, you even have a little glow to you." I rolled my eyes as my mother had told me the same thing to me. "Well welcome all, please make your way inside so you may be shown to your rooms."
I smiled at the workers of our estate as they Colins and mines family luggage to their rooms. Colin then appeared next to me and linked our arms. I smiled at him and placed a chastised kiss on my forehead. Walking up the stairs we headed to the parlor where our family would gather. Sitting down on the seat I leaned onto Colin, and he rubbed my back. Then about ten minutes later in ran Hyacinth and sat on my lap hugging me. I let out a groan/ laugh as I hugged her back. "Sister would you kindly get off my wife, you are crushing her." Causing me and her to gasp and I slapped him on his chest.
