It's been a whole week since I last seen rafe Sarah says she hasn't seen him since him and his dad had an argument about the business

He hasn't answered his text or calls I'm getting really worried about him I wake up to my phone ringing I look at the time to see it's 2 AM "Sarah is everything okay" still half asleep "Ruby it's rafe h-he won't calm down he's saying he needs you" she sounds so panicked

I quickly put the phone down and getting on my bike once I get there I see the back door leading into the kitchen was open when I go through I hear shouting

The kitchen is a mess broken glass food all over the floor picture frames smashed get up the stairs seeing rose word and Sarah at rafes door "Ruby thank goodness your here" Sarah pulls me in for a hug

"Rafe baby it's me" I knock on his door before he opens it just enough to let me in he's a mess his hair all over the place

More holes in his walls his bed not been maid yet tear stains in his cheeks he pulls me in for a hug so tight I can't escape "hey it's okay" I cup his face whipping away his tears as he closes his eyes

"Rafe where have you been" I say calmly not wanting to escalate it "no where" he pulls away turning his back to me "rafe I gave been worried sick I've called you and text you why haven't you responded what ever it is I can help"

He shakes his head "a-are you using again" as rafe shatters a near by glass I grab onto his arm now shouting "stop this your scaring me"

"Get the fuck out of my face" he roars making me jump once he sees how scared I am his face softens I've never seen him like this before

He pulls me towards him as he falls onto the bed "I-I'm so so sorry i would never hurt you Ruby even" this man in front of me broke and crying the man that is mean to be a tough kook is needing help

"Rafe please talk to me I can't help you if you don't talk" he sighs still cuddling into me he nodded his head "I got myself into a lot of trouble with Barry I owe him a lot of money I-i was doing so good rubs you have to believe me but when I argued with my dad it just triggered me"

"Rafe I do believe you let me help you I can work a few extra hours to help you pay it off and I will help you to get clean again"

He cried into me more "I c-can't let you pay it off" I give him a reassuring smile "we can worry about this tomorrow now let's get you into bed"

After a while of cuddling rafe was finally asleep I quietly went downstairs seeing ward clean the mess I started to help him he give me a smile and for a while we were silent

"I like you Ruby your good for my son you have my blessings" I smile at him "thank you ward" he nodded his head "no thank you Ruby you keep him out of trouble you know how to calm him down and your very respectful"

As we cleaned up everything we headed to bed rafe still being asleep I cuddled up to him as I drifted off

"Good morning" I wake up to rafe planting soft kisses on my face I smile up at him it's nice to see him calm and happy

"You do know this isn't going to be easy the shakes and sweats I'm going to have mood changes fast I won't be able to eat or drink I'm not going to be able to sleep"

I rub circles on his cheek "rafe I know it's going to be hard but I'm your girlfriend if I can't help you then I what is the point in being a couple"

He kisses my lips pulling me in "Ruby I don't know what I would do without you i love you" I pull away from him looking into his eyes realisation sinks in as what he just said

"Rubs I I'm sorry you don't need to say it back I know it's just early" "I love you too" I say to stop him rambling on he smiles making me smile back

"You need to come with me just until you get clean I need you to be with me at all costs so that means staying with me for a while" he nods his head getting a few things together

We head to the cut rafe on the back of my bike as we get there he heads straight to bed I get a few things that we are going to need

"How is he" JJ asks standing near me "he's okay for now listen there is something I need to do later would you mind looking after him"

JJ sighs nodding his head "of course" I smile at him before walking into my room "Ruby I don't feel so good" rafe reaches for the bin being sick I rub his back giving him some water

A few hours later and rafe has only just got worse he finally goes to sleep I get up grabbing the little bit of cash before heading to Barry's

When I get there it's quiet I barge through the door seeing Barry and kelce sat at a table since when did kelce do drugs "country clubs girlfriend"

He stands up smirking at me "here's your money it's not all of it but it's half I will get you the rest In a few weeks" I slam it into his chest making him fall back

He counts it laughing at me "has country club got you doing all of his dirty work" I laugh at his comments "no actually he's getting clean so leave him alone because I don't mind coming back here"

I look him up and down whilst he laughed at me "oh baby I have him wrapped around my finger I don't need to do anything he comes running back to me" i cringe at the pet names "but I will make you a deal let me hit it and I won't give him anymore drugs"

I don't know what came over me but I punched him in the face he spat blood out onto the floor "your in for it now you bitch"

JJ's P.O.V

Ruby went out half an hour ago and still hasn't come back I hear rafe scream making me barge into the room seeing him all sweaty and out of breath

I hand him a drink "thanks" he takes it having a drink he goes to speak but is cut off "Ruby what happened to your face" me and a weak rafe run out of the room to see Ruby with a black eye a cut lip and a bloody nose

"What happened" Sarah helped her into the kitchen as everyone followed "Barry" is all she says looking at rafe "why where you at Barry's" kiara shouts "I was paying half the debt he started saying that if I had sex with him that he would drop it and leave rafe alone so I hit him then he hit me back"

"Im going to kill him" rafe shouts hitting a wall

Rubys P.O.V

"Rafe stop" I shout getting of the bench and grabbing his hand "look at me it's just a few cuts and bruises I'm fine" he sighs at me taking in my bruised face

"Kelce was also there" he give me a sharp look of anger "and he didn't stop him" I shake my head kiara hands me some ice for my bruised eye I hiss as I put it on

Rafes P.O.V

It's been a week and finally I am clean I feel fresh I feel like a new person this week has been horrible

The hallucinations have been the worst I kept seeing Ruby in blood on the floor the knife in my hands as my father told me to do it

I haven't seen my dad in a week he hasn't called or text to see if I'm alive but he's used to that he will be expecting me to come back coked out of my head

I'm on the back of Ruby bike since I couldn't drive myself "are you sure you don't want me to come with you" she looked worried I take a beep breath "I will be fine I have to do this on my own" I kiss her and watch her leave down the driveway

I walk into the house seeing my dad sat at the kitchen table doing work on his laptop "dad" he quickly turns around shocked to hear my voice

He's quick to hug me "are you clean" he pulls away looking me up and down "you are looking well" I smile at him
