Two days later...

Two days had passed, and Yoongi sat on his throne, his face a mask of frustration and concern. The throne room was hot, the flickering flames from the torches casting eerie shadows on the stone walls. His brothers—Taehyung, Jungkook, and Namjoon—sat on the hot, stone floor in front of him, each with a different expression of curiosity and unease.

Namjoon leaned back on his hands, eyes fixed on Yoongi, waiting for him to explain the urgency of the meeting. Taehyung sat with his hands in front of him, fingers tapping the floor rhythmically, while Jungkook’s hands rested beside him, his eyes filled with quiet anticipation.

Yoongi sighed heavily, his fingers playing with the edge of his robe. He had summoned his brothers because he needed to confide in them, to admit the terrible thing he had done. His mind had been in turmoil since that night, and the sight of Hoseok lying in bed, lifeless and broken, haunted him day and night.

Hoseok hadn’t spoken a word since then. He hadn’t eaten or drunk anything, just stared at the wall with empty, tear-stained eyes. He refused to let Yoongi touch him, refused to let him apologize. The once vibrant and lively Hoseok was gone, replaced by a hollow shell, and it terrified Yoongi.

He glanced at his brothers, who were now looking at him with expectant eyes. They were waiting for him to speak, to tell them why he had called them so urgently. Gathering his courage, Yoongi sat up straighter on his throne, his voice trembling slightly as he finally blurted out the truth.

“I…I forced myself on Hoseok,” he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. “I…forcefully mated him.”

The confession hung in the air like a dark cloud. Yoongi closed his eyes in shame, waiting for the inevitable reactions. The room fell silent for a moment, the shock of his words sinking in.

Namjoon was the first to stand, his eyes narrowed in disbelief. “You did what?” he asked, his voice cold and hard. He hadn’t even been aware that Hoseok was already in the Underworld, and now he was hearing this?

Jungkook ran his fingers through his hair, disbelief etched on his face. He couldn’t imagine taking advantage of his Jiminie, couldn’t fathom the idea of hurting him like that. Taehyung, too, looked horrified, the very thought of raising a hand or touching his Petal inappropriately was unthinkable. No meant no.

Taehyung stood up, his voice shaking with anger. “What the hell were you thinking, Yoongi? What could possibly have led you to cross that line?”

Yoongi sighed deeply and began to explain what had happened—how his jealousy had consumed him, how Hoseok’s constant longing for escape had driven him to the edge. He spoke of how he had acted out of a desperate need to claim Hoseok, to remind him who he belonged to.

When he finished, Jungkook suddenly burst out laughing, though there was no humor in it. “You need to learn to control your anger, hyung. This isn’t how a king should rule. You need to think before you act, not let your emotions dictate your decisions.”

Yoongi’s temper flared, and he shouted, “I’ve heard enough! I know I made a mistake, alright? I was just… I was just so jealous. Hoseok kept forgetting who he belongs to.”

His voice softened, but the frustration was still there. “How would you feel if you were in my shoes? Namjoon, how would you feel if Jin allowed another to touch him?”

Namjoon’s eyes darkened at the thought, his jaw clenched tightly. He said nothing, but the answer was clear.

Yoongi turned to Taehyung and Jungkook. “And what about you two? How would you feel if Jimin slept with someone else?”

Taehyung didn’t hesitate. “Jimin would never do that,” he said confidently, but Yoongi pressed on.

“But what if he did?” Yoongi demanded.

Taehyung’s eyes flashed with a dangerous intensity. “I’d burn the whole world down,” he said coldly. “And then I’d make sure Jimin never forgot who he really belongs to.”

Yoongi rolled his eyes, though a small part of him found comfort in Taehyung’s response. But his brothers still sighed, and their expressions softened.

“Even so,” Namjoon said quietly, “what you did was wrong, Yoongi. You can’t undo it, but you can try to make amends. You need to find a way to apologize, to show Hoseok that you regret what you’ve done.”

Yoongi shook his head, his frustration evident. “I’ve tried, Namjoon. A thousand times I’ve tried. But Hoseok keeps shutting me out. He won’t let me near him, and all he keeps saying is Jin’s name… begging for Jin.”

Yoongi and Namjoon exchanged a knowing look, the unspoken understanding passing between them. They both knew what needed to be done.

“We need to bring Jin into the Underworld,” Namjoon finally said. “He’s the only one who can comfort Hoseok now.”

Yoongi nodded, the decision made. He knew that this was the only way to begin to mend what he had broken, even if it meant seeing the one person Hoseok longed for more than anything else.
