Yoongi stood in the spell room, his eyes scanning the space while the eerie green glow from Ayanna’s incantation filled the air. The room was cluttered with ancient tomes, jars of mysterious herbs, and crystals that seemed to hum with energy. The walls were adorned with symbols and runes, each one pulsating faintly in the flickering candlelight. But none of this was new to Yoongi. He had been to Ayanna's home before, tracking her energy through his powers, yet even those powers had failed to find Hoseok. It was as though Hoseok didn’t want to be found.

He paced restlessly across the room, the tension coiling tighter in his chest with each passing second. Ayanna’s voice filled the air with an unfamiliar language, her eyes glowing an unearthly green as she chanted the spell. The room began to shake, the vibrations growing stronger until it felt like the very foundation might crumble beneath them. Yoongi stopped pacing, his gaze locking onto Ayanna as he waited for her to finish.

After what felt like an eternity, the trembling ceased, and Ayanna’s voice trailed off into silence. She turned to face him, her expression grave—just as it always seemed to be. Yoongi couldn't help but wonder if she ever wore a different expression.

He met her gaze with an expectant look, silently asking if she had found Hoseok. Ayanna gave a slow nod.

"I found him. But he's not there right now. He’s gone out… with the baby."

Yoongi’s eyes narrowed slightly, his mind immediately jumping to dark conclusions. Before he could voice his thoughts, Ayanna shook her head, as if reading his mind.

"He’s not out to kill, Yoongi. He took the baby to have some alone time."

Yoongi blinked, momentarily taken aback. An amused smirk played on his lips, though it didn’t reach his eyes.

"Alone time? That’s surprising. What’s so special about this baby?"

He mused aloud, but deep down, he thought he understood. The memory of the first time he met Hoseok flashed through his mind—how they had met in that desolate barn, and how Yoongi had been captivated by the strange pull he felt toward him. From that moment, Yoongi knew he would be obsessed with Hoseok.

Perhaps Hoseok was experiencing something similar with the baby. The child wasn’t afraid of him, despite the darkness surrounding him. The baby was drawn to Hoseok's pure soul, the same way yoongi had once been drawn to hoseok. The realization hit Yoongi like a ton of bricks: Hoseok was falling into the same trap, slowly becoming obsessed with the baby. It wasn’t just obsession, though. Yoongi recognized the feeling—it was the early stages of love, Hoseok’s greatest weakness.

Yoongi chuckled softly to himself. He remembered how Hoseok had once embraced him without fear, even before knowing what he truly was. Hoseok had shown him kindness, treated him gently, and never feared him, even after discovering Yoongi’s true nature and the horrors he had unleashed. That unshakable courage had fueled something within Yoongi, a fire that burned brighter with each passing day.

And now, Hoseok was experiencing that same fire. But this time, it was the baby who stoked the flames, and Yoongi knew that if this continued, it would only grow. Love would take root in Hoseok’s heart, and maybe—just maybe—that love could change him in ways Yoongi couldn’t.

He snapped out of his thoughts and focused on Ayanna.

"Where is he now?"

Ayanna hesitated, her eyes flickering with a mix of concern and caution.

"He’s staying in an abandoned house deep in the woods. But Yoongi…"

Yoongi’s resolve hardened as he nodded. He was ready to confront Hoseok, to bring him back, no matter what it took. But just as he was about to leave, Ayanna reached out, her voice filled with urgency.

"Wait. Think about this, Yoongi. This is dangerous—more dangerous than you realize. If you go after him now, you might not come back."

Yoongi paused, turning to face her. His eyes were steely, determined.

"Hoseok is mine. I know every inch of his soul, and I know how to handle him."

Ayanna shook her head, her expression shifting to one of frustration mixed with pity.

"That isn’t Hoseok anymore, Yoongi. He’s become something else—something far more dangerous."

But Yoongi was stubborn, driven by a need to see his sunshine again, to bring him back from the darkness that had claimed him. He dismissed her warning with a resolute shake of his head.

"I’m not leaving him, Ayanna. I have to do this."

Without another word, Yoongi turned on his heel and walked out of her house, the air around him crackling with determination. Ayanna watched him go, her heart heavy with worry. She knew the risks, knew what could happen if Yoongi failed. But she also knew there was no stopping him now.

As Yoongi flew off into the night, disappearing into the sky, Ayanna could only hope that nothing happened to him. Because if it did, she knew all too well what would follow—hell would unleash its wrath on Hoseok, and when that happened, no one on earth would survive.
