Auradon is shrouded in darkness, the storm above echoing the turmoil within the castles courtyard. Bridget, now the Queen of Hearts, stands on the stage. Her eyes are cold and resolute, filled with the bitterness of betrayal and a burning desire for revenge. Cinderella is infront, Red and Chloe in the back of the courtyard as they have now returned from their time travel journey, Hook had entered the courtyard in hope to stop Bridget. As Red and Chloe got back, they saw a figure in the front, it was Hook. As Hook approaches, his heart races, his mind replaying every moment that led them to this confrontation. He knows the beneath Bridget's hardened exterior lies the woman he once cared for, and he clings to the hope that she can still be reached.
"Bridget, this isn't the way to get what you want!" Hook calls out, his voice cutting through the murmur of the gathered crowd. The families watch with bated breath, hoping for a peaceful resolution. Bridget turns her gaze to Hook, her voice cold and unwavering. "And what do you know about what I want, Hook? You who played a part in my humiliation?"
Red steps forward, her eyes imploring, "Mom, please. Stop, so we can go back home, this isn't the right answer. Don't let that be your whole personality." Her voice trembles with emotion, and the wind seems to carry her words straight to Bridget's heart, where they echo the painful truth.
Chloe, standing beside Red, added, "You used to be about love and courage. Don't let anger take that away from you." Her voice was gentle yet firm, a beacon of hope amidst the storm. The courtyard was silent.
Bridget hesitated, a flicker of vulnerability crossing her face as she surveyed the gathered families, their children clinging to their parents, eyes wide with fear. Her heart ached with the memory of love lost and trust shattered. She turned her back on Hook, hiding the turmoil within her.
Cinderella had stepped forward, her presence calm and reassuring. "Bridget, I know what it's like to be hurt, to feel alone. But this isn't the answer. Revenge won't heal your heart." Her words were a lifeline, reaching out to Bridget in her moment of crisis. The rain began to fall, gentle at first, then more insistent, washing over them like a cleansing balm.
Bridget looked at Ella, the sincerity in her eyes a reminder of what once was. She took a deep breath, her resolve wavering. "Love betrayed me," she murmured, her voice barely audible over the rain. But Ella stepped closer, her hand outstretched. "Love can heal too, Bridget. If you let it."
Hook watched, hope stirring within him as Bridget's defenses began to crumble. He stepped forward, his voice earnest. "I was wrong, Bridget. I was a fool, and I've regretted my actions every day since. I know I hurt you, but please, don't let my mistakes define your future."
Bridget turned to face him, the storm within her eyes meeting the storm outside. Her voice was soft, almost a whisper. "How do I forgive when the wound still bleeds?" The rain intensified, as if mirroring her internal conflict, each drop a reminder of the pain she'd carried for so long.
Just as it seemed Bridget might relent, a sudden, jarring shout broke the tense atmosphere. "Enough!" Uliana's voice rang out sharply from the edge of the courtyard. The guards had stopped her but she pushed her way forward, her face a mask of anger and betrayal. "Do you really think it's that simple, Bridget? To forgive and forget?"
