As soon as he heard the alarming new that she passed out, panic surged through him. Without a second thought, he sprinted down the hallway, his heart racing with concern. Each step felt heavier than the last as he raced toward the nurse's office, desperate to find out if she was alright.
He pushed open the door only to find Red and Chloe. His chest heaving with each labored breath, he was confused.
"Hook?" Red said, she was confused on why he was here.
His cheeks flushed a deep red as he looked down and realized that it wasn't Bridget but Red. He cursed Hades under his breath.
"What? Did you think it was Bri-" Before Chloe could finished Hook had interrupted her.
"NO" he said defensive, Red laughed along with Chloe
"Do you really think that's it's not obvious that you like her, I mean could you have made it a bit more believable?" Chloe said.
Even though Red was never close with her mom she is always defensive of her, she loved her in her own way, it's just that, she barely shows it. "Listen here," Red said with a serious tone as she jumped off the bed, "I mean I could care less that you like Bridget, but if you do hurt her I will take that hook and gauge your eyes out."
Chloe let out an awkward laugh, and grabbed Red by the shoulders, "Sorry about that, she just woke up and she's a little, you know, out of it," Chloe said letting out another laugh.
Hook was left there, he was kind of scared. Hades was right, the things one does for love.
