( 2nd person POV )

Once the realization hit you, you started sprinting to get out of the woods as quickly as possible. You sensed that something was terribly wrong and you wanted to get home as quickly as you possibly could.

30 minutes had passed and you got closer to the area where you had entered these strange woods when suddenly you heard a faint sound of static which motivated you to run faster. Your lungs and legs were burning but you couldn't stop now, you were so close to getting out of these woods. The closer you got to leaving the more painfully loud the static became.

The sound of the static got so unbeatably loud that you let out a pained scream while almost falling to your knees but you kept running until you finally got to the exit of the woods. Once you got out of the woods the static got even louder until finally coming to a stop. You took a few more steps before collapsing on to the ground beneath you, your legs were burning and your adrenaline slowly went away. You let out a few pained coughs before laying there weakly for about an hour.

( Your POV )

After an hour I finally got the strength to grab my phone out of my bag to call my mom. After a minute or so my mother picked up the phone. “(Y/N) Where are you?!” She had shouted over phone, sounding very worried. “I'm outside of (W/N) woods..” I said, my voice sounded slightly quiet due to still feeling a bit weak. “Are you alright?! Stay right there, I'm coming to get you right now!” She shouted over the phone before grabbing her keys and hanging up the phone.

( 2nd person POV )

15 minutes passed and you saw your mother's car pull up next to the sidewalk that you were laying on. “(Y/N)! (Y/N), are you ok?!” your mother shouted as she got out of the car very quickly. She lifted you up slightly and walked you to the car, laying you down in the back seat.
