( 2nd person POV )
After another 15 minutes you two arrived back home. Your mother quickly got out and helped you out of the back seat, walking you inside after shutting the car door.
“(Y/N) what happened?! What were you thinking?!” Your mother questioned loudly, clearly concerned. “I thought it’d be nice to take a little walk through the woods you know, take in the scenery..” you mumbled. “(Y/N), you need to be more careful.” Your mother said firmly.
“I know, I just didn't think that would happen..” you started. “There was this creature. It was tall, pale, and wore a business suit but that's all I remember..” you finished speaking, just describing it made your head hurt.
Your mother's face went pale for a moment before going back to normal. “Are you sure? Maybe you're just seeing things, have you been getting enough sleep?” She asked, worried about your mentality. “Yes mom, I have been getting enough sleep..” you said, sighing after you spoke. “Are you really sure?” Your mother asked again. “Yes, I'm positive.” You said before heading to your room.
Once in your room you just laid down on your bed, trying to remember as much as you possibly could from while you were in the woods but to no surprise, all you could remember were those few details you had previously told your mother earlier plus an extra detail that you forgot in the moment. Tall, pale, wore a business suit and.. it was faceless. That's what you had forgotten! It was faceless.
15 minutes go by and you just wanted to relax and unwind. You stood up and turned on some music before deciding to open the window to get some fresh air and have that cool breeze flow in your room for a little bit. A little while couldn't hurt right? ”But that's what I said earlier…” You thought to yourself with a frown.
“I'll be fine.” You said aloud as you took a deep breath and plopped down onto your bed and grabbed your sketchbook. “I'll draw something to take my mind off of this.” You said as you got up and reached over to your desk to grab your laptop and unplug it before sitting back down on your bed.
“What should I draw?” You said, opening your laptop and logging in. “Hmmmm..” You hummed while thinking, you eventually decided to draw Tim from Marble Hornets. Tim was your favorite character because you related so heavily to him.
A few hours passed and along with drawing Tim you decided to draw little doodles of other characters like Jay and Brian and also Ticci Toby.
“Hmm, good enough for now.” You thought out loud before deciding to take a break and get up to grab some water and a bite to eat. With that, you got up out of your bed and went downstairs to grab some water and food.
On your way downstairs you hummed to yourself. Once in the kitchen, you went to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water but after you closed the fridge and began walking to the pantry a slip of paper caught your eye. “What's this?” You questioned out loud, walking over to the counter and grabbing the slip of paper.
After grabbing the slip of paper you analyzed it, realizing that it was a note. “I wonder why this is here..” you said before reading the note and realizing that it was left by your mother.
The note just explained that your mother would be on a business trip for 3 months and that it would make her a lot of money and that she loved you very much. Your mother was a nurse so this wasn't new for you but you were glad that your mother was so happy about making some more money than she usually does.
Once you got your water and snack you made sure the doors and windows were locked as it was late at night at this point and headed back up to your room with your items along with the note left by your mother.
