( Your POV )

“He was so creepy…” I thought to myself, he must be that Jeff guy Tim was telling me about. I shuttered as I had a mental image of Jeff flash in my mind, I just took a deep breath and tried to not think about my Interaction with him.

After calming my nerves I got dressed. I put on a black tank top, some comfortable jeans and a flannel over the tank top along with some combat boots. Once I was completely dressed I brushed out my hair again and put on some lip balm. I grabbed 2 or 3 hair ties and slid them onto my wrist and slipped my lip balm into my pocket.

I was still trying to come to terms with everything that has happened in the past day. I felt so terrible, I miss my room, I missed my mom, I wondered how she'd feel once she came home to discover that I was gone. What if she already knows and is worried sick about me? I just stood there and thought about the possibilities of the situation, I know that even if I possibly were able to escape nothing would be the same. This is Slenderman, there's no way of completely escaping it. You either give in and surrender to it or die trying to get away from it for good.

I took a couple of deep breaths and decided to leave my room and chat with Tim, he's the only person here that I somewhat trust. He seems decent enough of a person considering who I've met so far. I just really hope I don't run into that dude with the goggles again, at least not right now with how I'm feeling.

After I left my room and shut the door behind me I went next door and knocked on Tim's door. Knock knock, after waiting a few minutes I got no response. “Hm, maybe he's not in his room.” I thought to myself as I knocked one more time just to be sure. Sure enough, I got no response from him. “I guess I'll just check downstairs..” I mumbled quietly to myself, turning away from his room and towards the stairs.

I glanced around as I walked down the steps, trying to spot Tim. Sadly it seems that Tim is out and probably won't be back for a while. I frowned, deciding to get something to drink. I observed my surroundings very cautiously as I walked into the kitchen and towards the fridge. Surprisingly, the inside of the fridge looked decent considering the people living here that I've run into so far.

I looked around the fridge for a few minutes before spotting a bottle of water that looked decent enough to drink so I grabbed it and shut the fridge. I turned around to see a male wearing a yellow-brown hoodie and frowning pullover mask over his head entering the kitchen. I froze up a little before realizing that this must have been Hoodie and I untensed up my body a little bit. Even though I was still on edge around him given the situation, he still seemed more decent than the others I've run into here.

I waved at him, clearly a bit scared but didn't want to be rude. He waved back before just getting on with what he was doing which was fixing some food. I just quickly left the kitchen and headed to the living room, hoping not many people were in there if any.

When I walked into the living room there weren't many people in there, just BEN and that foul smelling creepy guy. I just sat the furthest away from the creepy guy that I possibly could and watched what the two were doing, it appeared that they were playing a game on the TV, one that I wasn't familiar with so I decided to ask BEN about it. “Hey BEN,” I said, getting his attention. “Yes?” His glitchy voice replied. “What game is this?” I asked. “Oh, let me check.” He said, grabbing the disk container that the game disk came in. “It's umm, Call of Duty: Ghost.” He said, setting the disk container back where it was before.

I just nodded my head and sat there, watching their gameplay for hours. Once it hit about 5 hours, Tim walked through the front door. I cringed a bit looking at him, he had a good amount of blood on him and his clothes definitely needed to be washed for sure. “Hey Tim.” I said, waving at him. He grunted and just looked at me before walking off upstairs. “That's odd, Tim always waves back…” I thought to myself, subconsciously frowning.

“(Y/N), don't take it personal, Masky's like that sometimes.” Hoodie's voice chimed in, placing one of his hands on my shoulder. I jumped slightly at the touch, still wary from the situation that even got me here in the first place. “O- Oh, ok..” I stumbled over my words as I slowly turned to glance behind me at Hoodie. He just removed his hand from my shoulder and sat down on the couch. “So, (Y/N), how are you settling in? The best you can I suppose? You know, given the situation.” Hoodie asked, I just stiffly and slowly nodded in response. “Good good, by the way Boss wants to speak with you, he sent me to come get you.” Hoodie said, getting up and expecting me to follow.

I just took a deep breath and stood up to follow Hoodie, waving back at BEN who I just realized was waving me goodbye. A few minutes had passed as we just walked in silence, Hoodie having nothing to say and me just being too scared to speak. “So, uhhh, what's up with Tim…?” I asked, worried about why he just grunted at me and walked off. “Tim? Oh I see what's happening, who you saw earlier was not Tim.” He said, my eyes just widened with confusion. “..What? What do you mean?” I asked. “You saw his Alter, Masky. He has D.I.D.” Hoodie explained. “Ohh.” I said, becoming less confused and understanding his actions earlier. “Yeah.” Hoodie said and we just went back to walking quietly.

“We're here.” Hoodie said, we'd been walking for a good 15 minutes before we had finally arrived at Slender’s office. Hoodie hit the knocker against the door and we were let in.

( 2nd person POV )

You and Hoodie just walked in and you sat down while Hoodie stood by the now shut door. “Hello (Y/N).” Its static filled voice echoed in my head. “Hello.” I said, fidgeting with my hands. “The reason why you are here is because I somewhat figured out your abilities.” It started. “Oh? Well what are they?” You asked, nervous. “I'm getting to that, be patient.” It said sternly. “Now, like every other person and creature here, you have something useful to me. I don't just observe useless mortals.” It spoke. “Now on to your abilities. (Y/N), have you ever felt… detached from your sense of reality?” It asked. “Yes… sometimes.” You answered. “Good good, have you ever hurt someone badly without thinking about it?” It asked another question. You hesitated for a moment. “...Yes.” you answered truthfully. “Good good… Always be honest to me because I know the answer before you even think about it. Now (Y/N), you are a very strong willed girl, you're also quite strong in your sense of strength, direction, manipulation.” It spoke, at this point you've gotten used to its static filled voice echoing in your head.

“Ok, what makes me so special? I'm sure there are plenty of others that have those same capabilities.” You said, sad and confused. “Ah ah ah, you're different. While on the outside you seem very calm and collected and sweet, on the inside there's far more. So much bottled up rage and violence, I'm taking you in so I can use it to my advantage and make you useful.” It said.

“And you're exterior is the key to your strong manipulation tactic whether you know how to use to your advantage or not I'll make sure you know how to use it to my advantage.” It said, taking a moment of silence.
“Now, I'll send someone to grab you or call you myself if I figure anything else out or if I need you. I'll get Masky to help you train your fighting abilities next week.” It said before motioning to the door for me and Hoodie to leave.
