*Leahs POV"
Today was a rest day which only meant one thing. That I was gonna spend the day with family, we are all close but the only reason we are as close is cause we all put in the effort to see one another, even with a busy schedule. I decided to pass by the cafe just to grab a few sweet treats for the family, as I turned the corner someone was coming out the door and walked straight into me, I felt the contents of their cup cover me in head to toe as I fell to the pavement.
"I'm so sorry" I could hear them say as I tried to use my sleeve to wipe the liquid that covered my face, I could see the figure beginning to stand over me as they held their hand out to help me
Why I am I not surprised...Moore...this girl is the epitome of a walking disaster
"Of course it had to be you" I quipped
"Look I'm sorry, I literally live round the corner, I could lend you something to wear" she offered sincerely
"I guess I don't really have a choice Moore" she helped me up as we begin to make our way to her flat in complete silence
As we made our way into her home I looked around, it wasn't really a home...there was nothing homely about it. It was all open plan...the kitchen with an island leading onto the living room with just a tv and a corner sofa...very basic. There were no pictures of friends or family. Not even a lick of paint on the walls, every wall was plain white. The place had zero personality. It kinda made me feel a little sad and intrigued.
"I'll just quickly go grab you something to change into" she snapped me out of my thoughts as she headed to what I presume was her bedroom
I rested against the island as there was a buzz go off behind me, I turned to look to see what the noise was and it was her phone...I didn't mean to snoop or look but as I look at the message I felt something stir in my gut
Unknown number
You're hurting my feelings not responding to my messages, you always were selfish. I should of ended you when I had the chanceWas someone threatening her? But why. Had she had many other threatening messages?
It made me feel bad for being so harsh on her at the games. I had seen the hate online that she had got from the last match she did. No one deserved that. Truth was I didn't hate the girl, far from, when she used to be a referee assistant I always caught my eyes drifting to watch her..truth was she was a distraction for me. That was the issue, I'd always been focused on football but when she was on the sidelines I couldn't focus. Then she ruined our chances at the FA cup so I turned it into anger instead
"Here I hope these are ok, the bathrooms just through there if you wanna go change" I didn't even notice she'd come from the bedroom, I followed where she pointed to as I muttered a thanks and made my way to the bathroom

"Camden's POV*
Leah had been in the bathroom for about 5 minutes when she finally re-emerged, she was wearing a pair of my jeans and a cream jumper, it was pretty similar to what she was already wearing but knowing they were my clothes kinda did something to me
"You just gonna stare Moore" she smirked
I could feel the heat rise to my cheeks as I look to the floor
"Cam"
"Wait...Cam you never call me Cam" the shock evident in my voice
"Alright let's not make a big deal out of it....can I ask you something" she said
"Erm sure" I was kinda confused what she wanted to ask me
"Who's threatening you" wait how did she...she must mean the online stuff right?
"I mean" I started to try and make a joke about the whole wsl community but then she cut me off
"Your phone Cam, it buzzed and I wasn't snooping and I didn't mean to look" she must of seen the way my eyes reacted to her saying this, she started to make her way over to me as I was sat on the sofa
"You can talk to me" she knelt in front of me, looking deep into my eyes, I could see a flicker of concern flash across them.
Could I trust her? Who am I kidding. She had always been horrible to me. The only time she was nice was when she had alcohol in her system....but why the nice guy act now? Was this just a game so she had something to hold over me? Whatever it was I knew I had to do what I do best.
"I think you should leave Leah"
