" I hope you're happy I'm doing all this. Waking up at 6am was not on my to do list "

Yesterday night I had asked Yoko for a favor before heading to bed. She looked at me with death eyes, arms crossed and one foot tapping the wood floor but agreed within seconds after pouting my lips in please.  As off right now though we are heading to help my Brother Noah pack up everything for his move. Yoko and Noah never Liked each other. He says she's a bad influence but he doesn't know Yoko like I do.

" I'll get you a dragon fruit lemonade from Starbucks for the help I promise! "

" yeah yeah yeah " she paused " Large!  and can I get a cake pop ? "

"Of course" I  smiled

" fine." Yoko yawn " it makes it somewhat worth it " 

Yoko has been my best friend since Nevermore. She's half Japanese and half English with straight long dark hair, pale skin and a killer smile. Did I mention she's a vampire ? Besides that all being said Yoko was the most confident person I've ever met. Aside from my brother, he had the world's biggest ego. He wasn't bad looking 6 foot 2 with dark brown curly hair and deep blue eyes on top of that also very smart makes one cocky little shit. Talking about him he actually has a thing for Yoko's older sister but he'd never tell a soul. I'm not even supposed to know, but how can you not when he makes it so obvious!

My brother was seriously across the hall from our apartment. He had the door open for us to just walk right in. Once we entered everything was almost gone. We just needed to help finish small items like dishes and his clothing etc.

" Noah ?" My voice echoes in the larger empty space while Yoko sat on the ground with her knees to her chest with a gummy expression
If you couldn't tell, Yoko wasn't a morning person.

" where are you ? "

" Bed room " heard a loud thump coming from the hallway followed by a muffled curse. A minute later Noah came down holding a long cardboard box

" What's in that ? "

" shit I'm donating " he explains and places it on the kitchen counter. I wrinkle my nose.

" put in a shirt please "

" And let Yoko miss out on this eye candy? I'm not that cruel " 

This pissed her off to no end

Yoko lifted her head " please I've seen better at the campus gym, listen to Enid and put a shirt on before I lose last night's dinner."

" Methinks the lady just wants to.."

" OKAYYY, how about we just wrap this up huh ? " Thankfully Noah and Yoko behaved for the next hour and a half while we packed up the remaining things Noah hadn't finished. Then loaded them into the SUV he rented for the move. Soon the only thing left to pack was one of his ugly paintings

" Tell me you're donating this ? " I eyed the massive canvas.

"I don't even know how it would fit in the car. "

" Nah leave it there she likes it. "

" Who ? " as far as I knew no one has took over Noah's lease yet

" you'll see " i didn't like the smile on his face at all. A low purr of an engine came along and filled the air. Noah's smile brightened.

" as a matter of fact you'll see right now "

Yoko and I exchanged glances before we ran to the front and pushed it open. A familiar Austin Martin pulled into the driveway, the door opened and Wednesday stepped out looking more gorgeous than any human had the right to look in high waisted jeans with an oversized black hoodie.
