Turtles

The next morning when I woke up, I was crushed by a hug from mom. "Oh, tank God. Alex where were you last night?" I avoided her eyes. I hated lying to mom, but I had to keep my mutation a secret. and I was a good lier. " oh, well I stayed at April's house for help with my homework, Then I lost track of time." Mom bought it. "ok, well call and let me know if your going to be late, ok?" I smiled "Ok mom"

After she left, I wondered what to do about my shoes. my old ones were gone. then I got it. Opening my closet, I grabbed my combat boots. Tying them up, I sighed. "no speeding until I have better shoes." I said. It was to bad. I had wanted to run to school. Even though I would be there in less then ten seconds. I slid down the banister and jumped to the floor. "someone has energy today." dad said grinning. "Oh, you have know Idea." I grinned back. Conner shuffled into the room. "So back from you late date?" He yawned with a smirk. "No. I just stayed over at a freind's to do homework." He rolled his eyes. "oh, sure. next you'll be denying the wedding." I slapped him upside the head. "Oh, shut up, Conner."  

When I took off my helmet, at school, I remembered Chelsea. Ha, she's got nothing on me. I'm a mutant. she's a pathetic girly human. I loved being different. It gave me confidence. as soon as I walked in she came up. "All done crying, Alex?" she smirked and her friends laughed. But I just glared at her. "Yeah. You all done being a jerk?" she stumbled back. "Oh you are going to regret that."  she sneered. I grinned. "oh, you know what I regret? I regret not punching your pathetic little makeup smeared face, yesterday." she tried to slap me again, but after last night, I gained lightning quick reflexes. I saw it all in slow motion. Celsea's hand slowly moved towards my face. I casualy. moved her hand back, then redesigned her face, smearing make up along her face, and shirt.

then every thing went back to normal. Chelsea slapped her own face, smearing the already smeared makeup. she looked surprised, while I stood ther grinning like an idiot. "What the..." she said before I punched her. she fell down like a sack of potatoes. I grinned and rubbed my knuckles. "And that's for every thing else." Then it happened. the principle came out.  

"Alex! What did you do?!" He yelled. I then wished the scratch on my face hadn't healed. "I was.." "that's enough young lady. Office. NOW!" 

I sat in the chair of the doom, while Principle Nickles tapped a pencil on his desk. "Alexis I don't known what has gotten into you, but snap out of it. You cant go punching people." I slouched in my seat. "she tried to claw my eyes out." I mumbled. "Ok Alex, I'm sorry, but one more problem from you, and you'll have to be expelled. Do you understand?" I nodded. "Yes sir."

the rest of the day was a drag. I got home and went straight to my room. "Alex, you ok?" Mom asked opening my door. "I'm fine. I just need to be alone." she nodded and closed the door. I twirled my knife in my hands, thinking. "I need something to do." i muttered to my self. It was still light out so I decided to get up and visit April. "Mom I'm going out." I told her as I grabbed my motorcycle keys. "Ok, have fun." I revved the engine and sped off. I knew I could have run, but I needed a calm ride.

I got to April's apartment and parked my bike. I climbed up to her window, and knocked. She opened it. "Hey, Donn..Oh, Hi, Alex. what are you doing here?" I folded my arms. "Nice to see you too." I said sarcastically. "sorry, come in." she moved and I jumped into her room. "so whats up?" April asked. "just stopping by." I lied. I wanted to tell her about my mutation. "listen, Alex I don't want to be rude but could you leave,...please?" I looked at the ground. "yeah, sure." I hopped out the window. "see you at school." april said, before slaming the window shut. "yeah, see you." I leaped to my roof and sat on the edge. "even with powers I'm still the out cast." I muttered.

 then I thought.  'what would anyone care, I'm not exactly human.' I sighed and remembered my first moments. waking up in a tank. I was shaken out of my memories by voices. " for the last time, Leo, I am not taking orders from you!" A annoyed voice yelled. "well, Raph I'm the leader." I stood and looked to my left, and almost fell. standing on the roof opposite me, were four giant turtles. One with a blue bandanna, one with red, one with purple, and one in orange.

 I decided to take a closer look. Silently, I jumped to their roof and hid behind a water tower. then it happened. The robot ninjas came and attacked the turtles! I watched as they fought. suddenly the turtle in purple got his weapon knocked out of his hands. He was surrounded and at the edge of the roof. "Donnie!" the others yelled. I couldn't stand and watch. I lepped from my hidding place and attacked the robots. One slashed my side with its sword. I screamed in pain, but kept fighting until the ninjas were all destroyed. I fell to my knees, holding my side. It was healing slowly, but I was losing blood fast. The turtle who I saved, knelt beside me. I could see spots in my vision. "She doesn't look so good guys." he said. I fell and rolled to my back, gasping for breath. The turtle in red picked me up, and I blacked out.
