Error's fall into the void was excruciating, his already fragile bones grinding against each other with each tumble. The agonizing sensation only exacerbated his haphephobia, the fear of being touched, as he helplessly spiraled. The endless descent into darkness left him panicked and helpless.
A sudden light cut through the void, and Error was drawn towards Hazbin Hotel, a foreboding structure that loomed like a beacon. As the creaking doors swung open, Error stumbled into the grand lobby, his ashy bones contrasting sharply with the deep red decor. Just as he wondered if he'd found a haven within the hotel, a deep, ominous voice echoed through the silence.
"Welcome to Hazbin, little bonebag," Alastor boomed, his intimidating presence filling the room. The click-clack of his cane seemed to accentuate the unease in the air. Alastor's piercing stare pierced Error's very soul, and the skeletal being's anxiety spiked.
Alastor's hand extended towards Error, the gesture an unwelcome invasion of space. Error's panicked response was visceral. He lashed out, his skeletal arms pushing Alastor back with unexpected force. The sudden movement caused more of Error's ribs to dislodge, the pain searing, but his high tolerance to agony numbed the sensation.
Alastor's brow furrowed, surprised by Error's reaction, as the other residents of the hotel fell into an awestruck silence. The atmosphere had shifted from welcoming to something far more sinister. Error's breath came in short, rapid gasps as his eyes darted wildy, the paranoia of his situation overwhelming him.
Unbeknownst to most, a small blue plush fell from Error's coat, a cherished possession that brought him comfort. Only Angel Dust, ever curious and observant, noticed the little blue creature, picking it up with intrigue. Meanwhile, Charlie, with her empathetic nature, rushed to Error's side, recognizing the signs of distress.
"Easy there, big guy," Charlie soothed, her gentle touch careful not to intrude on Error's personal bubble. "We're here for you. Let's get you settled and figure out what's going on."
The other residents of Hazbin, including Vaggie and Husk, looked on with a mix of caution and warmth. Husk, with their deep voice, offered Error a specially prepared drink, something that might help calm his nerves.
"Here, this might help you relax," they said, their rough edges softened by concern.
Error, his breath slowly evening out, was still beset by an overwhelming sense of unease. The curiosity of the Hazbin residents regarding his presence grew with each passing moment. His haunted appearance, adorned with the scars of a troubled past, only added to the mystery.
But there was another peculiarity, something that set Error apart from other skeletons. His magic, usually dormant, had awoken with a vengeance. A sweet aroma of chocolate permeated the air around him, obscuring the scent of ashes and despair. Error's appetite, once varied, was now exclusively focused on chocolate-related treats, as if his body couldn't tolerate any other sustenance.
As the residents of Hazbin processed this enigmatic figure, Error's magical aura grew more restless, seeking a release that only chocolate could momentarily provide. The enigma of his sudden arrival and his peculiar condition added an extra layer of intrigue to an already bizarre situation.
What secrets did this skeletal being, who had caught Fate's unforgiving gaze, hold within his broken ribs? As Error stood amidst the curious denizens of Hazbin, the stage was set for an unforgettable tale of redemption, or perhaps something far more sinister.
To be continued...
