DARLA AND CHRIS were currently hanging out. they decided to go on a walk since it's mid autumn and they wanted to take it the scenery. the pair were walking with their hands in their pockets, making eye contact every couple of minutes.
darla felt her ears turn red from the cold. chris had a beanie on over his head so his ears wouldn't get cold. if only she brought a beanie — she thought to herself.
chris noticed her looking at his beanie. he looked down at her face and noticed the red hue to her cheeks and ears. "you cold dar?" chris asked and darla nodded. "yeah, but i'll be fine!" she says and chris shakes his head.
the girl watches as chris takes his beanie off and places it on her head. "but—" "no buts, i'm fine without it. you needed it more dar," chris said while looking down.
their fingers brushed together which made the moment a little more awkward. after 3 minutes, chris decided to man up and interlock their fingers together. "this alright?" he whispers, watching darla nod her head quickly.
