chapter 6

When I got to my apartment I did my usual sweep ignoring ignoring the fucked up note that still branded my living room ceiling.

I took out my   laptop to do some research on the Biotech companies doctor Bennett referred to me. Once that's done I can then hack into each of the companies database and retrieve e.mails, delivery information, shipping details, sponsors , investors ect.

When I'm done with the research , I uncover that the first company named L.T.G , which are the initials of the 3 partners who founded the company 8 years ago . It was initially based in L.A but after 3 successful years , it branched out to New York , Las Vegas and Canada.

L.T.G has only 2 investors namely Justin Barns who is a medical mogal who graduated from Oxford university at the tender age of 24 with a Master's degree in Biochemical engineering then went on to discover a treatment for Arthritis and then foundered his own company named Brans Enterprise which is a Pharmaceutical company.

The second investor is a man named William Wright who also graduated from Oxford with a Medical Degree specialising in neurology which led him to the study of Neurofibromatosis.

Not much is out of place in L.T.G and their database is quite clean except for the near bankruptcy they suffered 3 years ago.

Then the second company , Lexuco , was founded by a woman by the name of Annabelle Lexuco 15 years ago. Annabelle later sold it to a Michael Puth who surprisingly kept the original name even though records show a dispute between the investors on the decision. This apparently caused a field  day for the press as multiple newspapers and tabloids wrote article's of the company's " supposed fall from grace"

But surprisingly the company not only recovered but also skyrocketed to Medical  Stardom.

Then the 3rd company named Evolution was foundered in 2009 by Angela Malone and later sold to Benjamin Kelly who changed the name from Malone Corp to Evolution, this company has 4 investors namely Nathan Cobbler, Jamal Bassett, Andrea Lion and surprisingly Franklin Fletcher who is the minister of defence of the United States.

And that's not even the most surprising thing as what surprised me even more is that their company's database us squeaky clean with out raven a single dent to their records, their books were clean, too clean, almost as if they had been cooked up.

One thing I know is that no company could have such clean records especially in business. That immediately raised my suspicions and put Evolution on my prime suspect list.

Why would the minister of defence be an investor in a Biotech company as he has no history I'm medicine nor does he have any medical degree or any degree for that matter. In fact upon  deeper research I found out that the minister was an orphan who moved from foster home to foster home for the age of 11 to the age of 18  which was when he enlisted in the Navy where he not only excelled but also assended in rank until he was recognised by the president who then recruited him to be his personal guard. That was until he was given the position of  , Minister of Defence of the U.S.A.

This doesn't seem right, from my experience, a child with his kind of upbringing tended to have developed a mental illness, addiction or even anger management issues. After a few minutes of a mental war I decided to fig deeper and... My , oh my was I right .

It turns out the minister had more then one case of insubordination and apparently he was responsible for killing 5 Russian terrorists instead of following the legal route to inflict justice for their crimes . During his trial , when he was asked for his reasoning , he simply said ...
"Comedy is subjective, isn't that what they say ? All of you , the system that knows so much , you decide what's right and what's wrong. The same way that you decide what's funny and what's not . Unlike you I actually serve the people of America. I am the justice. "

I'm so sorry for the late update 😔. Exams are closing in so unfortunately screen time has become very limited. Blame that to my mom. # super strict. 😅 But fear not for I haven't forgotten you. Even though I still haven't figured out a schedule for my updates I promise you that I will make time for Detective Snow and her journey to the truth.
