Chapter 9.

Well let's see where that gets you.

As the first officer approached I had already calculated a plan of action. I won't be arrested for something I did not do. When he tried grabbing me by the shoulder I grabbed his hand and used it to spin him around and pin his hand behind him while I quickly went for his gun to which I then pointed to his abdomen while I pressed his body to the front of my own in order to use him as my personal human shield.

" I don't want to do this, but one wrong move and I shoot"I warned.
" Put the gun down Snow, You don't want to do this " the cap replied.

" Well let's say I do make a wrong move and you shoot him ? What then huh? Just put the gun down and stop resisting because let's face it if you shoot that officer ,you lose your leverage" the officer by the name of Bradley smirked. He always was a cocky motherfucker.

" Well if you hadn't realised you fucking idiot, I can shoot him and still escape, you see I don't need him to be alive in order to use him as a human shield."I sneered. I fucking hate idiots. The officer who I was using as a hostage visibly gulped while I felt his whole body stiffen. Good .

"You know I can't let you leave Snow, especially with the information you could have copied from this stations database. For all we know, you could have information that could not only destroy any and every mission or undercover operation, divulge information on all our informants and sell sensitive information on the black market, Snow you could cripple not only the N.Y.P.D but the United states as a whole. So even if I let you go ,you are wanted by each and every badge in the country including the C.I.A and F.B.I as well as every criminal in the world. YOU HAVE BECOME NUMBER ONE OF EVERY HITLIST IN THE WORLD. As of today Snow you belong to no country. So please just hand yourself over." He's right if I leave here where will I go, fuck ... How am I supposed to prove my innocence now? Bloody Hell!

" I won't set myself up for slaughter Captain. Now tell your men to put their guns down or I will eliminate each and every one of them and trust me when I say that by the time I'm done there won't be anything left to identify." I sneered.

"You won't do that Snow ", he replied, trying to act tough even though he visibly paled. " Oh really now Captain? You seem to forget that in less then 30 min I have officially become a global terrorist. What else do I have to lose. You of all people know that the only thing that kept me in line was the badge and now that it's gone .... Oh well let's just say all is fair in love and war" I replied with a sadistic grin. And for a moment the officers' aim wavered, just what I needed. Time to escape.

Just as I was about to make my move.... the lights went out. What the hell? Well no time worry about what happened I crouched down pulling the officer I had taken hostage with me just as the others fired their weapons. I don't want him to die , I just needed leverage.

" Get under the table now. And don't come out , this should give you cover" I wispered in the officers ear , hoping he would understand.

I then crouched till I got to the restricted area of the building where Pedro had bombed the station and used the vent there to escape. Perks of not only knowing each and every corner of the building but also having memorised the blueprints of the whole building.
 
Now I not only have to take down the Mafia and find Him, my innocence hangs in the balance.

Well that chapter was difficult to write. I am so terrible at depicting stand off scenes😅 but I hope y'all understood and if there is anything you don't understand then please feel free to comment and ask questions .🙂
