" f*ck, why do they need to disturb me now ? ugh , so annoying. "

Arin mumbled as she took down two of the five attackers. The more she fought, the more kept coming.

"I can’t stay here any longer. I need to run," she whispered, quickly heading to her motorbike, which was actually Felix's.

As she drove, they continued to follow her. She suddenly remembered she had a gun that Chan had given her for safety. With a swift move, she managed to fend them off, making sure they couldn’t track her anymore. After losing them, she quickly made her way back to Felix’s mansion, seeking refuge and safety.

As Arin entered, she threw herself onto the couch, exhausted from the chase. Felix, emerging from the kitchen with a glass of juice, plopped down beside her.

“How was shopping?” he asked casually.

“Bad. They disturbed my time,” Arin replied curtly.

Felix raised an eyebrow, glancing at her with mild concern.

“They really thought you were Areum? That’s ironic.” He chuckled lightly, trying to lighten the mood.

Arin sighed, rubbing her temples. “I’m not in the mood for jokes, Felix. I just want to rest. Can we talk about this later?”

" Oh , right. Sorry . " Felix said . He took a glance at her appearance , his eyes widened as he noticed the blood seeping through her sleeve . He gently grabbed her arm , revealing a cut from a bullet wound .

" What are you doing, huh ? " asked Arin.

" Arin , you're hurt! How comes you didn't notice this ? " Felix exclaimed, his voice tinged with concern .

" it's nothing, really. It will disappear itself , " Arin replied dismissively . She stood up , ready to go to the her room . Felix grabbed her wrist. He tightened his grip , his voice firm but worried.

" No , I won't let you go this time . Stay here , let me treat this for once , please ? " Felix pleaded . Arin just sighed and sit again .

" Fine , "

Felix's expression softened with relief as Arin reluctantly sat back down. He quickly moved to get the first aid kit, carefully preparing to tend to her wound.

"Thank you," Felix said quietly, his hands steady despite the concern in his eyes. "Let's take care of this properly, okay?"

Arin just hummed in response.

Felix cleaned the wound with practiced precision, his touch gentle despite the urgency. Arin winced slightly but remained silent. As he applied the bandage, Felix glanced up, only to find Arin's eyes already on him. Their faces were inches apart, and for a moment, it felt like they might touch. Felix quickly looked away, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

Just then, the door swung open, and Hyunjin barged in, completely oblivious to the tension in the room.

“Hey, Arin! I—” Hyunjin stopped mid-sentence, his eyes darting between Felix and Arin, their close proximity not lost on him. He raised an eyebrow, a smirk forming on his lips. “Am I... interrupting something?”

Felix nearly jumped out of his seat, fumbling with the bandage as he tried to pull away from Arin. “N-no! Nothing at all,” he stammered, his face growing even redder.

Arin, maintaining her composure, shot Hyunjin a glare. “What do you want, Hyunjin?” she asked, her tone sharp.

Hyunjin chuckled, leaning casually against the doorframe. “Oh, nothing much. Just wanted to see if you two were, you know, getting along... well.”

Felix avoided eye contact, busying himself with the medical supplies, while Arin rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, clearly unimpressed.

Hyunjin, sensing the tension and enjoying the awkwardness he’d created, took a few steps closer, still grinning. “You know, it’s cute how you two are acting like you weren’t just about to kiss.”

Felix shot him a look, his ears turning even redder. “Hyunjin, cut it out,” he muttered, trying to keep his cool.

Arin, unfazed by Hyunjin's teasing, stood up and brushed off the encounter as if it was nothing. “You really have nothing better to do than annoy people, do you?” she asked, her tone dry.

Hyunjin shrugged, still smirking. “Well, when you’re giving me such golden opportunities, how can I resist?”

Arin gave him a pointed look. “If you’re done, I need to go to my room,” she said, heading for the door.

Once she was gone, Hyunjin turned to Felix, who was still trying to recover from the whole situation. “You’re a mess, man,” Hyunjin said, patting Felix on the back.

" Shut up , will you ? "
" Okay , okay I will, " said hyunjin , chuckling.

Yoona walked into the police station, the sharp click of her heels echoing through the room, drawing every eye to her. Her presence commanded attention, the air around her thick with purpose. She paused, letting the silence settle before taking off her sunglasses and locking eyes with the officer who approached her.

Chan stepped forward, recognizing her immediately. “Yes? How can we assist you?” he asked, his tone professional but curious.

Yoona met his gaze steadily.

“I want to make a report,” she replied, her voice firm as she set her sunglasses down on the counter.

Changbin and Chaeryeong exchanged glances, their lips curling into silent smirks.

Yoona reached into her designer bag and pulled out a sealed envelope, her expression serious as she handed it to Chan.

"I have evidence," she said, her voice steady and determined.

"Inside, there's a USB drive. The recording on it captures Doyoung stating his intentions to kill Areum. That's it I'm done covering for him. He's an absolute an as*hole."

Chan took the envelope, his eyes scanning Yoona’s face for any sign of hesitation. He then handed it over to Chaeryoung, who quickly plugged the USB into a nearby computer. The room fell silent as the recording played, Byungwoo’s cold, calculating voice filling the space.

As the recording ended, Chan, Changbin, and Chaeryoung exchanged knowing glances, a silent agreement passing between them. Suddenly, Changbin stepped forward and snapped handcuffs onto Yoona’s wrists, the metal clinking loudly in the quiet room. Yoona’s eyes widened in shock.

"What are you doing?" she demanded, disbelief and anger flashing across her face.

Changbin tightened the handcuffs around Yoona's wrists, his expression unreadable.

"You’re under arrest for being an accomplice in the attempted murder of Areum," he said calmly, his voice carrying an edge of authority.

Yoona’s shock turned to fury. "What? I came here to help! I’m giving you everything you need to take him down!"

Chan stepped forward, his face stern but not unkind. "And you will help, Yoona, but you’ve been involved in this from the start. Turning on him now doesn’t erase what you’ve done. You’re part of this, whether you like it or not. "

Yoona’s eyes narrowed, her anger boiling just beneath the surface. "You’re making a mistake. Doyoung is the real criminal here, and you know it."

"We know," Chan replied, his tone firm. "But you still have to answer for your role in this. Let’s go."

With that, Changbin began to lead Yoona towards the exit, her heels echoing through the room once more, but this time, the sound was accompanied by the cold clinking of handcuffs.

"Let me go. Yah! I swear I didn’t do any—"

Her words trailed off as she spotted Hyunjin and Seungmin standing by the door. Seungmin stepped closer, leaning in just enough for his words to reach her ear.

"Good luck," he whispered, his tone laced with mockery.

Yoona's face turned red with anger as the realization hit her—she had walked right into their trap. Her jaw clenched tightly , she could feel Seungmin’s smirk lingering in the air.
