Charlie's POV

I was in my office when I suddenly got a call about an accident from school. "We just don't want any trouble with the Cullen's," Mrs Molina, the principal tells me.

"Ok, I'll be there soon." I left the station and drove to the hospital. The Cullen kids were waiting at the waiting room when I arrived. "Charlie, thank God you're here. Something was off about the accident......" Rosalie instantly told me about the accident.

However, she tells me that this might not be an accident. "Why would you say that?" I asked her and she told me that she actually saw Mike at a workshop, getting his monthly car inspection 2 days ago. "He had no issues with it and this morning, he had no problems with the brakes. Why did it suddenly malfunction when he tries to drive home?"

"Not only that," Jasper adds in his 2 cent. "I saw Bella leaving the building during free time and came back with a smirk on her face. It was weird but I didn't wanna think about it too much and just left it alone. Also, when Edward was being transported into the ambulance, I saw her smirked an evil smirk at him."

I recorded their testimony and went to check on the van. I decided to use my power and revert time to when before the accident happen. A shadowy figure was near the car and broke into the driver's seat to cut off the brake wires. They turned around and lo and behold, it was Bella. She cut off the wires with some sort of wire cutter that I'm 100% sure is from Gabriel's room.

How she got in there, I have no idea. I send in the memory to the others as well as Edward's fiancee, Elliot. I could hear the incubus growl in my head. Even though Edward would've sustained zero injury, it would be a big hassle to rearrange the student's memory of the crash.

It already happened 3 times last year, I am not about to do it for this year. I went back to the hospital to check in on Tyler and Edward. Tyler was profusely apologizing to Edward for the accident when I came in. Elliot was sitting on the edge of Edward's bed, Edward on his lap with a fierce expression on his face.

"Afternoon, boys. How are you all feeling?" I interrupted Tyler's non-stop apology fiesta. "Tyler, I checked with your van and it seems somebody cut off your brake wires." Tyler was stunned when he heard this. He looked relieved that it wasn't his fault for the accident but also worried when hearing that somebody tampered with his van today.

"Afternoon, Uncle Swan. Is there any footage of what happened before the accident? Maybe one of the CCTV cameras at the parking lot caught the culprit?" Elliot asked but I sadly shook my head. "The cameras are old and most of them have no clear image of the parking lot. I have no evidence or suspicion for the accident. All I know is that someone tampered with Tyler's van with a wire cutter and it is someone who is on school property at the time."

"So maybe one of the students, staffs or teachers?" I nodded. "I will try my best to find the culprit but I can't make any promises."

We know that it's Bella but I don't have any incriminating evidence to prove it. So, I'll have to resort to mortal police means. Carlisle comes into the room to check on Tyler and Edward. "I heard that Edward is here. How are you feeling, son?" Carlisle gently asked while performing a check-up on him.

Elliot made sure that none of his vampire features could be seen by the other nurses and patients. "Looks like everything is good.... How does your head feels? Any dizziness? Nauseous?" Edward shook his head and he was clear. "Just take some Advil if the pain is bothering you, ok? Tyler, we will have to keep you in for a little longer as your head is pretty banged up and you might have a concussion."

Edward and I left the room and waited outside while Elliot got him checked out. As we waited, Edward suddenly frowned at something behind me. I turned around. "Edward, are you ok? I saw what happened. Are you alright? Did the doctor say-" Bella rapidly fired questions at Edward but she finally noticed me next to him. "Dad, what are you doing here?" She looked panicky and I could sense she was sweating a lot.

"Edward is Elliot's fiancee and he called me here to check out the crime scene and get some statements. It was a pretty bad crash and Tyler's van was completely fine this morning. So, something's up." I didn't give her any more details.

She was already working up a sweat as she asked if there were any clues as to what happened. She didn't stutter her words but it was plain obvious when she started fidgeting her hands.

I told her no and left her alone with Edward. I pat Elliot on the shoulder as I passed by the counter. I went back to my office to review the case and find a way to put Bella in juvie because I was quite tired with having to deal with her shenanigans now. First, she parties late at night and drove while being intoxicated and now, this? At this rate, she might as well go back to California. At least, it won't be hot news.

Third person's POV

In Italy, Volterra.

A man is visiting a grave in a castle garden. The grave site doesn't really have a body buried underneath but there is lots of flowers being planted to make the tombstone more lively. The name written on it is very unique. 'Didyme Volturi. Loving wife and queen. ' a rose was placed on the site and the man left without another word.

Suddenly, he felt a sudden pull to his heart. It was the same feeling he had with his wife but it is much stronger. Using his powers, he looked down to his hand. There was the normal yellow line and black ones associated with his brothers and enemies but there is another one on his ring finger. It's not red like with his wife but it was gold. Shining as brightly as the sun.

"Could this be?!"
