A Chance To Relieve (ADOPTED)

Chapter 23

Everyone gulps anxiously seeing the first protector of the Chunin Exam.

"There will be no fighting without the permission of the examiner. Even if permission is granted, killing your opponent will not be tolerated. Those pigs that disobey me will fail immediately. Do I make myself clear?" Ibiki asked.

Everyone participating in the exam in the room stayed quiet.

"We will now start the first test in the Chunin Exam. Instead of your current seating arrangement... you will pick one of these tabs and sit in the seat assigned to you. We will then hand out the exams." He added.

Everyone went to get their tabs and sat at their assigned seat. The examiners hand out the exam paper. 

"Do not turn your tests over. Listen closely to what I'm about to say... There are many important rules to this first test. I'll write it on the board while I  explain, but questions will not be allowed, so listen carefully" Ibiki started.

"Rules? No questions allowed?" Sakura's inner thought.

"The first rule, is you guys will all start off with 10 points. The test is made up of 10 questions and each one is worth a point but... this test uses a subtraction system. Basically, if you answer all the questions correctly, you keep your 10 points. But say if you miss 3 questions... you lose 3 points and will have 7 points.

The second rule is that this is a team test, whether you pass or not will be determined by the combined score of your teammates. So, each team will compete to see how many points they can hold on to from the initial team total of 30.

Now the most important rule...

the third rule is that during the exam... anyone caught by the testing officers doing sneaky activities, namely cheating... We will have 2 points subtracted for every offense. So there will be some who will lose all their points during the exam and be asked to leave. 

Please realize that the pathetic ones who get caught cheating will be destroying themselves. As shinobis trying to achieve the level of Chunin, be proud Ninjas.

The final rule is that those who lose all their initial points during the test and those who don't answer any questions correctly will fail along with their 2 teammates." He stated.

"The exam will last one hour," he said.

All the participants there straightened up.

"BEGIN!!" Ibiki shouted.

Narumi wasn't conflicted by it, she then turned to the Exam Papers and flipped to the first question.

Once done reading, she was shocked and started reading the rest of the 9 questions that were given quickly before sweatdroping.

💭Face it Kit, you were an idiot at this time before you time travel, however, you read and memorized it until you could recite it in your sleep while you were studying to become the 7th Hokage. 

Narumi signed inward before analyzing everyone inside the room using her chakra to sense who was cheating and who wasn't.  She wrote her analysis on the back of her paper and then took a short nap. She didn't forget to put a small note at the bottom to have all the protectors to be wary of Kabuto.

Sakura uses her intelligent brain to answer the questions. Sasuke realized soon after that they were supposed to cheat without getting caught during the exam so he used the Sharingan to cheat because this test is to see how well they can gather information with their skills.
