Sasuke volunteered to carry Narumi inside the house.
Kakashi, Tazuna, Tsunami, Zabuza, and Haku noticed the hidden motive for it and smirked at him. Sasuke noticed the smirk that was pointed at him and turned around to hide his blush as he carried Narumi to Team#7 shared room.
He laid her on top of her Futon to let her rest.
As it was almost dinner time, Tsunami, Haku, and Sakura went to the kitchen to make dinner. They made simple rice with a fish dish and a small salad dressing.
As they were eating...
"I still can't believe that Narumi knew our favorite meal..." Sakura said.
"What's made you say that, Sakura-San?" Haku asked.
"Well, when Kakashi-San, Sakura-San, Sasuke-Kun, and Narumi-San came, Narumi-San made us a fest to eat with the food which she informed us that she had brought with her on the trip. I noticed that Narumi-San made Kakashi-San, Sakura-San, and Sasuke-Kun have different meals that were served." Tsunami started.
"Then Kakashi-Sensei, Sasuke-Kun, and I asked her where she knew about what food we like to eat individually. She only told us that she only observed what we were eating and then concluded and assumed that it was what we like to eat" Sakura continued.
" Rather than that, can you both explain to us about the plan you were talking about with Narumi?" Kakashi asked.
"Straight to the point, Kakashi?" Zabuza asked.
"It made me concerned for one of my students, especially when one of them was badly injured because of it..." Kakashi replied.
Zabuza and Haku just stared at each other.
"That blonde brat will explain herself to you. She told us that she will explain to you when everything is over." Zabuza said.
"That is correct, We even asked her when she would tell you three and she said so herself that she would do it once everything is over. " Haku added.
Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura turned towards each other.
The trio sighs...
Even though Sasuke and Sakura have only known her for a while since she was homeschooled, they meet her right after the long wait from Kakashi-Sensei to pick them up to meet with Narumi who is on the roof. They knew she was secretive, considering how she first introduced herself. She however warms up to them a bit talkative here and there when she becomes comfortable with them. Narumi was also a stubborn person which they didn't forget despite no matter how long it took.
So they give up and await whatever explanation that Narumi has to offer.
2 Weeks Later...
Tazuna, Tsunami, and Inari are sending the ninjas off from the entrance of the wave country.
"Thanks to you, we have completed the bridge, but... this is super sad," Tazuna said.
"Thanks for everything," Kakashi said.
"Don't worry, we'll come to visit" Narui stated.
"You better..." Inari stuttered while trying to keep his tears from falling.
Zabuza, Haku, Kakashi, and the members of Team #7 were walking back to Konoha from the Wave Village.
With Tazuna, Tsunami, and Inari...
"That girl changed Inari's heart... and Inari changed the people's hearts... That girl gave us a bridge of hope, called 'Courage'.
And that was when 'The Great Narumi Bridge' was born in the land of the Waves...
Back with Zabuza, Haku, Kakashi, and Team #7...
After they had reached Konoha, They all went to the Hokage's office. The 3rd Hokage, Hiruzen was speechless beyond belief...
Who wouldn't, when the Demon of the Mist, Zabuza Momochi with Kakashi and Team #7...
"Report?" Hiruzen asked.
Kakashi started giving him the report, explaining how the C-Rank became an A-Rank, how they met Zabuza and Haku, How Narumi was able to beat them, and her injuries to the Hokage. Hiruzen frantically wanted to check for any injuries on her, but Narumi intervened.
"I'm fine Jiji, I just need some rest and good food then I'll be up and running like usual, Dattebayo," Narumi said softly.
Hiruzen signed while the others were shocked, Narumi was showing her emotions.
"Very well then... Team #7 will now have their break for the whole week... Zabuza Momochi and Haku, both of you will be on probation for 6 months before you are deemed to become citizens of Konoha No Sato." Hiruzen said.
They nod.
"See you both after your 6 months probation~" Narumi smiled softly.
She particularly skipped out of the Hokage's office and went to her usual alley to shunshin back to her rundown apartment to go to the Namikaze compound to do her training before bed.
One week later...
Narumi woke up and made herself some breakfast before meeting up with her teammates and their sensei.
After she reaches her teammates by shunshin to the alley near their meet place, she walks towards them. She reaches them purposely 1 hour before their sensei arrive. The trio give each other their morning greetings.
As they wait for their very late Kakashi-Sensei, they do something no one would expect (well for Sasuke and Sakura as the duo only met Narumi when the team was formed). Sasuke and Narumi did a friendly spare of only Taijutsu while Sakura read a medical ninjutsu book that she borrowed at the library at the side.
One hour later...
Kakashi just walked towards them and saw the trio doing the tree walking exercise so that Sasuke and Narumi could have better control of their massive chakra pools while Sakura would enlarge her chakra pool as she already had better control of her chakra.
Kakashi who just gazed at them as they did their training, gave them an eyed smile. He finally revealed himself once the trio was safely at the bottom of the tree.
"Hey Guys! I got lost!" Kakashi shouted gleefully.
Narumi, Sasuke, and Sakura glance at each other before going to the Hokage to get their mission for the day. Kakashi, who was behind them, commented on how their teamwork went from the missions.
"Okay, that's it for today. I have to go submit this mission report..." Kakashi said.
"Then I'll go train see you guys later" Narumi stated with her emotionless face.
Sakura turned towards Sasuke who stared at Narumi before she turned towards Narumi.
"Narumi-San, how about we hang out instead?" Sakura asked.
"You, me and Sasuke-Kun..." She added.
Sasuke turned towards Sakura in shock. Narumi looks at them.
"Fine... came along now..." Narumi stated as she walked away.
While the trio walks away, Kakashi shushin towards Hiruzen's office to deliver the report. He is pleased that his team is working well together.
