A lot of participants decided not to take it and were weeded from the Chunin Exam by Ibiki Morino. Narumi decided to stay quiet, thinking back on her as Naruto when the event happened was embarrassing.

💭You were immature back then Kit, look at the bright side, it didn't happen this time.

💭 That's just because I, who have matured get into the body of my old self, it's just that the side effect of going back to the past is it turns into a permanent version of my sexy jutsu that I can't turn off or I just turned into a female version of myself permanently after I came here, Kurama.

💭 Oh Kit, if only you knew... That this is and will be permanent...

Narumi decided to stay quiet, wondering if Sakura would shoot her hand up like how she did last time.

She didn't...

20 teams left.

"Good decisions. Now to everyone still remaining..." Ibiki started again.

The participant all held their breath while waiting for the question (except Narumi since she was faking it since she was so good at acting (You know the drills)).

"I congratulate you on passing the first test!!!" He shouted.

This news shocked the participants to the core.

"Wait... what do you mean? Have we already passed? What about the 10th question?" Sakura asked.

"There never was such a thing. Or you could say that those 2 choices were the 10th question." Ibiki said with a grin.

Everyone was protesting and confused about what the written test was for. Narumi on the other hand was quite the whole exchange, talking with Kurama about what they would be doing for the 2nd Test.

All of a sudden, Ibiki points towards Narumi.

"You there, Uzumaki, why don't you explain..." Ibiki said.

"Those 9 questions are not useless... They had already served their intended purpose, which is to test us to see how good we are at gathering information. Like Shinobi would in the field. Since this test is based on the whole team doing well. This put pressure on each member not to mess things up for their teammates. But the questions on this test were not the types that a mere Genin could answer. Because of that, they planted a few Chuunin in the room who knew the real answers... Our job is to get answers from them or use our own intelligence to answer these questions. Those who get kicked means they are spotted by the enemy and got 'killed' thus the kunai was used to stab their desks. Therefore, it is dead and eliminated. Those who did not get 'killed' means your methods are passable or within expectation. Though we are genins, there is nothing to be expected from our level, therefore we get three chances. 

This is because, in this Shinobi World, at times, information is more important than life... and on missions and the battlefield, people risk their lives to get their hands on it. Important information in your hands... can be a powerful weapon for our respective village and our comrades.

But the 10th question,  if anyone actually notices is the true purpose of the test. The 10th question is the 'Take it' or 'Not Take it' decision. Obviously, these were painful choices. Those who choose the latter fail along with their teammates. Those who choose to take it... could lose the chance to ever take the test again... the true leap of faith. Why? Those who chose the latter didn't think they were ready to risk it all for the sake of avoiding every dangerous mission coming ahead after becoming a Chuunin."Narumi explained.

The Genins and the examiners even Ibiki around her thought that was the end of it since she stopped talking. The Genins now understood her simplified explanation. Ibiki and the examiners were impressed because she understood the test perfectly.

Oh, they were so wrong since she just glanced towards Ibiki before sighing again.

"No matter what the danger, there are missions you can't avoid. The ability to be courageous and survive any hardship, which are the abilities needed to become a Chuunin Captain. Those who can't put their destinies on the line... who cling to the uncertain future of 'There's Always Next Year'... and then walk away from their chance. Those Genins who can only make such a cowardly choice...  have no right to call themselves Shinobis and become Chuunin. 

Those who choose to take it... answered the 10th question correctly will be able to survive any troubles that are being faced in the future." Narumi stated as she remained in her position.

 Although they didn't know her, her tone made the genins around her suddenly get annoyed by her 'calm even if Mount Fuji collapsed' attitude. The examiners and Hiruzen however were rendered speechless, not only had she understood the test, but she even understood their reasoning about the test. They thought in sync...

Who was she?

Ibiki was the first one to snap out of it.

"Excellent, Uzumaki... " He simply said.

💭No matter which timeline the Kit ended up, my Kit will make an awe-worthy speech without fail.

Ibiki turned to the other Genins.

"You have made it through the entrance, the first test of the Chuunin Selection Exam is now finished" He stated. 

This made the Genins sign in relief from the pressure they were in.
