Suddenly, Narumi uses a small wind jutsu strong enough to open the window next to Ibiki, where the other examiners are, surprising them. Before they could say anything, something went inside the room via the window Narumi just opened.
"You guys! This is no time to celebrate!!" The person stated.
"I am the examiner of the 2nd test!! Mitarashi Anko!! Now Let's Go!! Follow Me!!!" She shouted.
The Genins were speechless and quiet. Narumi put her hands on both her ears... She made sure this 2nd examiner did not break her eardrums just in time before the speech.
"Bad timing..." Ibiki stated.
Anko silently counted the Genins who were left...
"60!? Ibiki!! you left 20 teams ?!! The test was too easy this time!" Anko said.
"This time, there are a lot of outstanding ones" Ibiki stated.
"Bah, that's fine... I'll at least cut them in half in the 2nd test," Anko said.
The Genins inside the room were shocked and nervous. Narumi on the other hand internally sighs because she needs to put up with this and her while she is an Anbu Commander.
Sakura 💭 At least in half? Cut us !?
"Ahh... I'm getting excited... I'll explain everything once we've changed places, follow me." Anko said while shaking out of excitement.
As Anko and the Genins went to their location. Ibiki went to their desk collecting all their sheets. When he gets to Narumi's desk, he sees her answer and is surprised at her answers.
"This.....is impossible!" Ibiki shouted.
"what's wrong?" his colleague asked.
"This Genin got a perfect score!" Ibiki replied.
"that is impossible No Genin could have got a perfect score on this test!" he said.
He then noticed at the back of the page, that a mere Genin knew who was cheating and who wasn't in more detail. He then saw a small note and read it.
Ibiki 💭this is the girl who only worked for about 20 minutes and just slept for the rest of it. she must be very smart but exactly how smart?
"Uzumaki Narumi... What an interesting girl... if you had been the examiner, no one would have passed... I should go to Hokage-Sama and report to him, we will keep an eye on this Kabuto," he said, shaking his head at the last sentence.
With Anko and the Genins...
They are at the Practice Arena 44, also known as the 'Forest Of Death' where they will take the 2nd Test.
All the participants were frightened by the aura of the Practice Arena except Narumi, who has overcome it and has even used the Practice Arena since it's close to where the Uzumaki Namikaze compound, however, at a safer distance close to the Forest of Death. Still, of course, no one knows about that.
"You'll soon find out... why it's called the 'Forest of Death'" Anko stated with a grint.
Anko notices Narumi being indifferent, so she throws her Kunai at her. Narumi, in return, in sheer reflex, grabs the flying Kunai with two fingers and throws it back at her with more force, which makes it stick to the wall behind Anko.
"Here's your Kunai, Anko-San" Narumi stated with a straight face.
"Why Thank you," Anko said.
Anko turned towards all the Genins around her.
"Looks like we have a lot of bloodthirsty ones in this test. Hehehe... this should be fun" Anko said.
Narumi sighs out of exhaustion knowing how Anko actually jinxes them before in the first timeline which no one remembers.
💭 Oh you have no idea...
"Now, before we start the second test... There's something I have to pass out." Anko stated.
She took out a stack of papers out of nowhere.
This confused the Genins (Narumi had to act like she was confused).
"You must sign this agreement forms," Anko said.
This only confuses them even more (Not Narumi though, she internally sighs with Kurama).
"There will be deaths in this one... And if I don't have you sign these... It will all be my responsibility, hehehe..." Anko happily stated.
"I will explain the second test, and then you can sign it afterward. Then, each team will check in at that booth behind me," she added.
After they passed the agreement forms to all the Genins...
"I'll now explain the second test. Simply put, you will attempt the ultimate survival..." Anko started.
Shikamaru 💭 Survival... Man, this test sucks...
"First, I'll explain the area in which it will take place. Around Practice Arena 44... are 44 locked gates. Forest, river, and a tower at the center. From the gates to the tower is about 10 km. During the survival here, you will be asked to complete a certain task. Using your many weapons and jutsu, you will compete in a... no rules... scroll battle." Anko explains while holding 2 scrolls in a pose at the end.
"Scroll?" A Genin asked.
"Yes, you will fight over these scrolls, the 'Heaven' and 'Earth'. There are 60 people here... meaning 20 teams... Half, 10 will get the 'Heaven Scroll' and the other 10 will get the 'Earth Scroll'. To pass this test... your team must make it to the tower... with both scrolls." Anko said.
"So... 10 Teams will lose their scrolls... Half of them will definitely fail..." Sakura said.
"But there's a time limit. This second test will last 120 hours. Exactly 5 days." Anko said.
"5 Days?!!" Ino shouted.
"What about dinner?!!!" Choji shouted.
(Typical Akimichi Clan's behavior)
"You're on your own. The forest is full of food. Just watch out for man-eating beasts, poisonous insects, poisonous plants... And 10 Teams passing is not likely. As the days go on, the distance to the goal will become farther, and the time to rest will become shorter. And the area is crawling with enemies so you won't get much sleep. So not only will some fail by losing the scroll... but some will die from the harshness of the course.
Now... I'll talk about what will disqualify you.
First, those who don't make it to the tower, with both scrolls, within the time limit. Second, those who lose a teammate or those who have a teammate killed.
As a rule... There is no quitting in the middle, you will be in the forest for 5 days. And one more rule... you must not look inside the scroll until you make it to the tower." Anko explained.
"What happens if you do?" Kiba asked.
"That will be a surprise for anyone who does" Anko smirked.
