Chapter 2: Skill

Third person

"Okay everyone there'll be a match between the first years and the second years." Yelled Riko. She looked at everyone as they were talking to each other about the second years when she noticed Akane listening to some music. A vein popped in her head and walked to her and took her earplugs off.
"What the hell are you doing? Did you even hear what I said?" She yelled. Akane looks at her with a bored expression. Then Kuroko popped out of nowhere and explained,"sorry about that coach, Akane isn't the type to listen. I'll make sure she doesn't do that." Riko jumped back and yelped. "Um, ok kuroko."

When it was time to start the match Riko blew the whistle. And of course it started out with kagami making a dunk. Everyone was amazed at how he did it. The match continued on and the second years were in the lead. Kagami got mad on how furihata said he had enough and grabbed the front of his jersey to yell at him.

While he was yell kuroko kneed the back of his head and Akane round housed him in the stomach. He quick dropped him and looked at both of us. He went straight towards kuroko to now yell at him. When he finally released him Akane went to kuroko and whispered in his ear,"hey kuroko, how about we show them what we use to do back in middle school. I'm too tired of on holding back so much. I want to at least show them a little of what I can do." He nods and the match starts again.

The ball starts with fukuda. Kuroko soon asks him to pass the ball to him and he does what he says. When he does the ball goes to him and straight towards Akane. She quickly dribbles the ball with great speed and dunks it with incredible strength. The others looks at her with astonishment.

"So now she shows her skill. I was thinking she was lying when she claimed to be in the generation of miracles." thought kagami.

The match went on and since Akane started to actually play they managed to triple the second year's score.

As kagami dat down at what seemed like and empty table he unwrapped his burger and bit into. soon realizing that kuroko was there sitting on the opposite end. Kagami looked at him,surprised, and swallowed. after kagami said hi he noticed Akane slurping on her milkshake.

"You know that's my seat." she says.

Kagami freaked out after seeing her appear out of nowhere.

"Wait are you on a date or something" he questioned."not exactly we were hanging out and catching up with each other." Kuroko said while slurping his milkshake.

"Whatever." kagami says angrily while eating his burger. when they were finished they all walked out together.

Then kagami brought something up,"just how strong are the generation of miracles? If I played them now how would I do?" "You'd be destroyed instantly" Akane and kuroko say in complete unison. as kuroko explained on the reasons Akane interrupted,"if you plan on defeating them you might have to change a bit on your style. you may be strong but your obviously predictable." kagami now looked at her,"yeah and your telling me that your stronger.""akane was known as the strongest player out of the whole team. she can probably crush you with her eyes closed." kuroko says with a monotone voice.

"Wait what do you mean was?" He questioned."its been a long time since i last had a one on one with them. I'm still wondering if they got stronger since I left for America." "wait you lived in America?""did I not mention that?""no!"" Well i did."

"Either way kagami if you plan on beating them then you also have to beat me. not everyone is as easy as kuroko here." "hey that hurts." he says still with a monotone voice. "anyway as you go up the ladder I'll be at the very top when you get there. you may have experienced some stuff during that match with the second years but that was just a mere fraction of what I can really do." now kagami looks at her with confusion then Akane sighs," what I'm trying to say here is that I'm not a show off like you. I actually hide most of what I can do to have a better advantage. the only person who knows is kuroko. seeing how we always work together in games. Anyway there are only two people who are strong enough to make me show at least half of what I can do. and you'll soon meet them if we manage." "also kagami if you manage to improve more you might become the third person." says kuroko. kagami looks at them both and smirks. he now looks at akane."okay then your on. but I have one request." "Okay name it." "if we manage to win our first match you have to give me a one on one match." "I don't see what could be wrong with that." she grins and holds or her hand to seal the deal. kagami smiles widely and slaps his hands into hers and shakes it."but I'm warning you I'm not going easy on you." "hah, why should you then." kuroko looks at them and sighs," he's probably going to regret saying that." he mumbles to himself.
