Chapter 3:A Goal

Third person

Kagami was playing basketball outside continuously thinking about the promise he made with Akane. "I'll show her my skills in basketball and see whose the one talking afterwards. top of the ladder she says." then he suddenly stops after making a basket."but then again I haven't really seen her actually play for real." he recalled all the times. Time he has seen her play. "many of those times she didn't even look like she cared at all. the only time I've seen her show some skill is during that one match with the second years." A sweat dropped then he smiles," that just makes it a bit more exciting then." And he dunked the ball into the net.

Kagami and Hyuga were talking to each other about how he was still a trail member and he needed a full membership of he wanted in games.

He rushed over to the coach and demanded after she spit her drink into his face."so you too." "wait what do you mean by that." the coach was now recalling back to when Akane and kuroko were asking her for the form.
"Okay seeing how much potential you have. but I will only accept it on Monday at 8:40 on the roof." He looks at her in confusion but just shrugs it off.

---time skip(on the roof)---
As Riko was explaining why she wanted them on the roof Akane was listening to music and chewing her gum. Kuroko elbowed her to pay attention. when she took off her ear plugs Riko was already done explaining. Kagami went up onto the rails and screamed his name and goal and went on so forth. when it was kuroko's turn he inhaled and was about to say his part into the microphone when the teacher came and busted them right before he could speak. "I don't care if I get in trouble as long as I don't get to speak." Akane said mentally.

The next day when Akane arrived in her classroom she noticed everyone looking out the window. she took off her headphones and laughed quietly to herself,"well isn't this interesting. seems like this will be more interesting than I thought."

--changing room--
Even though all the people in the changing room were guys Akane didn't even care she just changed with them without a care in the world. and guys seemed to have gotten a little use to it too. when they noticed a magazine that feature all the GoM members they found that there wasn't an article about kuroko and akane. "hey kuroko. why didn't they have an article on you?" Koganei asks. "they forgot about me." kuroko responded." they looked at him with sympathy and turned to akane. "and what about you." Hyuga asks. "I refused." she says bluntly while sticking a stick of gum in her mouth. "But why!?" They all say. "she was taking a nap when it happened and they woke her up for it. they learned their mistake the hard way." kuroko says with a bit a fear in his face. they all looked at Akane while she was scrolling through her songs. Then they all started to laugh." that can't be it. " koganei says while laughing then noticed that kuroko wasn't laughing with them. all of their eyes widened.

Fukuda suddenly burst through the door and happily tells them that their coach was back. "We're playing a practice match." "who are we playing?" "I don't know but she was skipping for some reason.""what skipping?!"the atmosphere suddenly darkened. the second years knew what it meant. "this means we're gonna play a tough player."

Kise walks to the entrance of Seirin."so this is seirin." he continues walking grabbing the attention of everyone around him.

The second and first years were having another game together. after they experienced kagami making a dunk they all marveled and started talking on how he would have a chance to beat GoM. Kagami walked over to Akane and look at her with a triumphant expression. "so how was that. was that something predictable." Akane looked at him with a same bored expression." I guess." she then blows a bubble. his expression then fell and then had a more determined face on him." I will someday surprise you and do something that will change that expression of yours into admiration." he yelled."good luck with that." she says while crossing her arms. Before he could say anything else Riko called everyone to gather.

She was explaining that they were playing against kaijo high and they had one of the GoM players in their hands. and as usual Akane was listening to music instead of listening to what Riko had to say on their opponent. kuroko noticed and elbowed her to get her attention. "you should really stop this habit." he whispers."well sorry that I get bored easily." She says while taking off the ear plugs. As kuroko was reciting everything that Riko said Akane noticed kagami smiling. she smirked," won't be so confident when you know what each of them can do." she says mentally.

"And I heard he's a model too." Hyuga says impressed."good looking and good at basketball." "idiot" Riko says after hearing it.

Then they all suddenly noticed a bunch of girls were gathered at the gym."tch. it's obvious that idiot is here. but out of all people why him."Akane mumbles to herself.

"Why are all these people here?" Riko asks. "sorry I didn't mean for all this to happen. can you wait for at least five minutes." when kise was done with the audographs he jumps off the stage and walks towards. "I heard Seirin was my out opponent and remembered that kuroko went here. And thought I would say hi." then suddenly a ball was thrown towards him. he stopped it and noticed kagami. as he taunted him but kise didn't realize there was another ball thrown toward him. it hit him right on his head causing him to fall. they all turned to the direction from where it was thrown. it was akane she had a dark aura surrounding her. as she walked towards him and had one foot on him.

"Why did you even think about coming you Baka." her eyes looked like they were glowing and there was a shadow over them causing all of her teammate to have chills.

It took a moment for kise to realize it was akane. he noticed those Hetero chronic eyes and his face brightened. he quickly got up to his feet and gave her a hug. they were all astonished by the action. "I can't believe it's you iwasakicchi." he continued to hug her while she was trying to shove him off."get off.gett off and what did I tell you about putting a cchi after my name." "I can't help it. it's been so long since we met. you never responded to my texts and I was worried you didn't get it." "oh I got it alright. I got one every damn day. and I'm starting to regret giving you my number in the first place!" She yelled when she got a good grip on him she flipped him. kise was now on his back.

"Hey Akane. I was about to challenge him." kagami yelled in frustration. kise heard it and got up. his face suddenly gets serious."sure I'll do I want to know what you can do""kagami don't get too cocky." Akane said. "I'm won't."

"Unbelievable" Riko sighs."this might be bad." Kuroko says worryingly.

During the match everyone experiences what was happening. after the dunk Kawahara spoke," that some friend you got there." "in honesty I don't know him." kuroko responded."what do you mean."from when the last time saw I him compared to now he excelled a lot in his skills." Akane says while blowing another bubble.

"This is disappointing. now that I saw what happened I can't just leave. how about you give us Akane and kuroko."

They all looked at him surprised while the two of them didn't. "it's obvious that you you talents are wasted here why don't you come with me." Akane and kuroko both look at each other. kuroko then bowed," I must respectively decline your offer." "I ditto that."

"What do you guys mean. wasn't winning everything to you guys." Kuroko now looks at him"my thoughts have changed." "and mine weren't like that from the beginning baka." "I promise kagami we'd beat the generation of miracles." "and I set my goal on improving him more to achieve that goal." kise looked at them surprised."this isn't like you guys to joke around like this."

Kagami started laughing. "hey kuroko you took my line." he says while smiling. Akane smirked,"i guess this is where everything starts." she thought.
