Chapter 4: The Practice Match

When the Seirin team arrived at kaijo high they all marveled at how big it was.

Kagami hadn't slept that night from excited. because of this Akane sack him on the head and kuroko called him a child.

Then they noticed running towards them telling them he was going to help them get around. the. He went straight towards Akane and kuroko telling them since they turned him down he's been crying in his pillow every night. "Please being so sarcastic" kuroko says. then kise's face got serious. he turn towards kagami and warned him that he'll give it his all when they play.

When they entered they noticed that half the court was being used. Riko was questioning about it to her self when the kaijo basketball coach noticed them."welcome I'm coach Takeuchi. And which one of you is the coach." "I am."eiko responded."what aren't you the manager." "no i'm Aida Riko. it's nice to meet you." "okay then is she the manager then." he points at akane. and yet again she was listening to music but this time she also wore her sunglasses too. he noticed that he was being ignored but just shook it off. riko asked why they were using half court and he answered them. in the end he left after telling them not to let them triple their score. Riko and kagami both looked pissed. Akane noticed this and asked kuroko about it. he told her every thing and a vein popped on her head.

Kise soon came to apologize about his coach.

They started the match. Akane,kagami,kuroko, Hyuga , and Izumi were up. Akane had taken off her sunglasses revealing her Hetero chronic eyes. "hey doesn't that girl look strange" one of the players whispered."yea but either way she's pretty cute." the other whispers back. the referee finally notice kuroko and when he did they all screamed because of his lack of presence. "They keep boasting about them having decent players. And to think one them is a girl." The coach says with disappointment."we'll see. their players aren't just decent." kise says.

When everyone got into position Riko was analyzing their opponent. their opponent's numbers were beyond their own."we at least have kagami and kuroko. But what Akane I feel like she's not showing us everything. how far will they bring us." She thinks to herself.

The match starts. kaijo starts with the ball but soon slaps it away from the player. it passes onto Akane and she slaps it towards kagami where he dunks the ball. "all right!" He yells not noticing the hoop in his hand.

Later on they finally changed to full court. "I wonder how much a new hoop costs?" Kuroko questions."wait we have to pay for that." kagami yells.

Now Kise was on the court. there were girls in the background cheering for him." sorry to keep you waiting he says."It's about time." "your way too intense for a model when you're on.""no he's just putting on a show.

Riko's eyes widen as the girls started cheering even louder for Kise. "Tch. how annoying."akane says. Hyuga was surprised by how many girls came to see him play. Annoyed also Kasamatsu ran towards him and kicks him. He later asks him about Akane, Kruoko, and Kagami. He happily tells him about them,"but I don't think Iwasakicchi isn't being serious about the game though." Kasamatsu raises an eyebrow,"wait you mean that chick over. what is that suppose to mean." Kise   grins,"you'll see if we manage to seem like a threat to her." then he punches him,"Just pay attention they gave us quite the greeting earlier. I think we should return the favor." 

Kise dunks the ball hard into the hoop but got kicked in the end. "I told you to break it!" 

Soon Kagami dunks the ball and yell,"let's go all out!" Later in the game Kuroko asks for a time out seeing how he and Kagami needs too cool down. During the time out everyone was having a drink and sweating like crazy all except Akane. Riko also notices this and asks,"why aren't you doing anything. While everyone was working you were pretty much standing there." Akane looks at her but this time with an intence glare."Akane are you going to use it." Kuroko asks suddenly."I don't know. I'm still thinking and he's improved a lot since last time. I might have to." Akane responded while rubbing her chin. Everyone looks at them in confusion."what do you guys mean by that." Hyuga asks. "you'll soon see." Kuroko says before taking a drink.

As the game went back on the gap became wider between Kaijo and Seirin. Kaijo has now discovered kuroko's weakness. Kagami was panting and sweating, then suddenly Akane taps him on the shoulder."Kagami i have a favor to ask of you." "what is it?" "I want you to get me the ball." "why?" "just do it without question." Kagami looks at her confused but he couldn't help was notice a slight spark coming from her right eye.
