Arshiya's POV:

As I walked away from my meeting with Shehreyar, I couldn't help but feel a spring in my step. I was eager to share my little victory with my bestfriends, Maria and Mirha. I found them lounging in the common room and eagerly recounted every detail of my encounter with Shehreyar.

Mirha listened with a warm smile, appreciating my quick thinking in saving myself from a potentially awkward situation. "Glad you thought to save yourself at the last minute, Arshiya!" she said.

But Maria seemed lost in thought, her eyes gazing off into the distance. "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked, noticing her distraction.

She brushed it off, saying "nothing," but Mirha couldn't resist teasing me. "Cunning of you, Arshiya! You're killing two birds with one stone. You'll get tutored by your crush and keep your father happy at the same time!"

Maria then decided to bring us back down to earth. "Hold on, let's not get ahead of ourselves. He didn't agree to tutor you yet, so let's pray that he falls for your charms first."

Her words were a reality check, but I couldn't help but feel hopeful.

Time skip:
(At night)

As soon as I walked into my room, I grabbed my phone and sent a text to Brainiac (aka Shehreyar): "Hey topper, what's the verdict? Did you decide to take on the challenge?"

I waited anxiously for his response, my mind racing with possibilities.

Shehreyar replied: "What if I say no? What's your plan B?"

I smiled, anticipating this question. "Well, I'll first try to persuade you (nicely, of course). And if that doesn't work, I have a backup plan - Haris offered to help me out, and he's more than happy to tutor me. He's always been the second best option, but I'm sure he'll do just fine."

I hit send and waited for his response, hoping that he wouldn't need too much convincing.

Brainiac: "Hmm, you think Haris is the second best option? That's good. But don't worry, I won't make you settle for second best. I'm ready to tutor you, but don't expect any special treatment as I'm not haris."

Arshiya: "Yay! I knew you'd come around! And don't worry, I won't expect any special treatment... but I do expect you to be an amazing tutor."

Brainiac: "We'll see about that. Meet me at the library tomorrow at 3 pm, and we'll get started."

Arshiya: "Sounds like a plan! Thanks, topper! You won't regret this, okay, but only if you're willing to be in the rumor mill with me. Deal?"

Brainiac: "You think I'm afraid of a little gossip? Bring it on! I can handle it. See you tomorrow."

Arshiya: "Looking forward to it, Topper! Let's give them something to talk about."

Brainiac: "Seems like you're eager to give them the gossip anyway. Don't be late, I won't wait for you to make our scandalous debut."

Arshiya: "Oh, I wouldn't dream of it, Topper! See you tomorrow!"

Brainiac: "See you then. Don't forget to bring your notes... and your A-game"

Arshiya: "Will do! Bye, Topper!"

Author POV:

As soon as she ended the call, Arshiya couldn't contain her excitement and happiness. She jumped up from her bed, squealing with delight, and twirled around her room. She felt like she was walking on air, her heart racing with anticipation.

She couldn't wait to see Shehreyar tomorrow and start their tutoring sessions. She felt a sense of excitement and nervousness, knowing that this could be the start of something special.
