Someone knocked on her door, bringing her out of her thoughts. Alora opened the door to reveal Luther, looking quite awkward. "Can I borrow one of your records?" He asked.

Alora sighed and stepped back. "Yeah, sure, whatever."

He grabbed one of the records and left, thanking her on the way out. The girl huffed and sat in her desk chair, spinning around.

After a minute or two, music started playing from somewhere in the house, stopping her spinning. But not just any music, I Think We're Alone Now by Tiffany music. The song her siblings played when they were little.

As the beat played, Alora chuckled to herself. So that's what Luther wanted. She nodded her head to the song and tapped her feet softly.

"Children, behave". That's what they say when we're together.

She remembers dancing hand and hand with Klaus, laughing at his stupid dance moves.

And watch how you play. They don't understand, and we're running just as fast as we can.

She heaved a sigh and got out of her chair.

Holdin' onto one another's hand. Tryin' to get away into the night and then you put your arms around me and we tumble to the ground and then you say-

Alora started to moved her body to the beat, no dance moves coming to mind.

I think we're alone now... there doesn't seem to be anyone around.

The girl spun in a circle, moving her arms wildly.

I think we're alone now. The beating of our hearts is the only sound.

She pretended she was dancing with a partner, moving like she was dancing to the tango.

Look at the way... we gotta hide what we're doing.

She giggled at her funny dance moves and started mouthing the words in a pretend microphone.

'Cause what would they say if they ever knew and so we're running just as fast as we can...

Alora wondered what dances her siblings were doing. Probably something silly, none of them were very good at dancing.

holding onto one another's hand. Tryna get away into the night, and the you put your arms around me and we tumble to the ground and then you say-

She remembers the way Five (the only one in the household she never thought of as family- more a best friend) refused to dance to this song.

I think we're alone now... there doesn't seem to be anyone around.

She started doing the Stayin' Alive dance move and swapping her arms.

I think we're alone now. The beating of our hearts is the only sound. I think we're alone now. There doesn't seem to be anyone around.

Alora started jumping and spinning, bobbing her head to the music.

I think we're alone now. The beating of our hearts is the only sound.

Suddenly, what sounded like thunder and lightning rumbled outside, stopping her dance and the music. A vase smashed when Alora flinched, her powers making the ceramic scatter.

Her camera hit the wall and shattered, falling apart and she looked at his, half confused, half sad.

She ran down the stairs and opened the doors to the backyard, her siblings joining her.

"What is it?" Vanya yelled over the noise of the blue portal.

"Some kind of portal, maybe?" Alora guessed, taking a step closer.

"Don't get too close!" Allison scolded, grabbing her sister's arm and pulling her back.

"Yeah, no shit!" Diego replied, not breaking his stare at the thing.

"Looks like some sort of temporal anomaly." Luther called out. "Either that or a miniature black hole. One of the two."

"Pretty big difference there, Paul Bunyan!" Diego yelled at big man.

"Out of the way!" Came Klaus' voice from behind them. He shoved his way through his siblings and threw a fire extinguisher at it. It didn't affect it, only going through the portal.

"What is that gonna do?" Allison yelled as Alora laughed loudly.

"I don't know!" He shrugged helplessly. "Do you have a better idea?"

Electricity crackled and everyone took a step back. An old man came into view and started making his way through the portal with difficulty.

"Everyone get behind me!" Luther said, pushing everyone back.

"Yeah, get behind us!" Diego stepped forward, not wanting Luther to overshadow him.

"I vote for running, come on!" Klaus grabbed Alora's hand and tugged but she pulled him back.

The old man seemed to shrink before he fell through the portal and landed in the dirt, it closing behind him. The blue light stopped and everyone had a clear view of what was infront of them.

A boy. Or more specifically, Five Hargreeves. Five could travel through space and time. Sometimes annoying when trying to scare you, sometimes very useful on missions. He was the boy she had a crush on before he left for fourteen years and the reason she searched for him in her mind and got stuck. The stuck part wasn't his fault though.

"Looks like it was a temporal anomaly." Alora muttered, eyes wide, looking over Diego's shoulder.

His suit was around 6 sizes too big and his shoes made him look like a child clown.

"Does anyone else see little Number Five, or is that just me?"

The boy in question looked down at his body and cursed, "Shit."

Alora moved Diego out of her way to get a better view of him. They locked eyes and he blinked at her, clearly just as shocked at her appearance as she was of his. The girl ran forward and pulled him into a hug, Five gently wrapping his arms around her.

Everything dawned on her and she shoved him away and hit him. Hard.

"You complete idiot!"
