The room was beautiful. There was only one window, but it was big enough to cover the entire wall. On each side of the dorm stood a four-poster bed, both with forget-me-not blue sheets. In the middle of the chamber lay a circular rug, similar to the one in the entrance hall. There were two wooden wardrobes in the room that looked exactly like each other. Two desks stood next to each other. On one of them lay a bunch of books, the other one was completely empty. There was one big clock on the wall which read 6:54 a.m. There was another door in the room, Leia guessed this one led to the bathroom.

None of this was as pretty as the girl lying on one of the beds. She had magnificent grey eyes that perfectly matched her silver hair, woven into two French braids. Her ears were even slightly pointed. The girl was reading a book about what looked like water magic. She was absolutely stunning.

'Um, h-hi. I'm your n-new dormmate', Leia said.

This was exactly why she didn't like talking to strangers. She would always do something embarrassing.

'Why did she have to stutter now? Now this girl will think I'm a weirdo', she thought.

'Hi, it's nice to meet you. I'm Phoebe Seldroth', she responded.

'I'm Leia, Leia Harrison.'

'Are you the girl with the power of all four elements?', Phoebe asked.

Oh great. Everybody will know her by that name.

'Uhm, yeah. I guess that's me.'

'Sorry, that sounded a bit rude.'

'No, it's fine. I will have to get used to it. I think everybody will know me as that.'

'I have an idea, let's take turns talking about ourselves so we can get to know each other better.'

'Okay', Leia responded. She walked towards the bed and sat down.

'Who will start?'

'I will', Phoebe said.

'So as you know, I'm Phoebe Seldroth. I'm half-elf. My mother is an elf and my father has earth powers. I have the water element's ability, but I also have healing powers and sharp vision because of my mother. I don't have any siblings and live in the Elf district with my parents. My life has been pretty boring so far, nothing has happened.'

'Wait, so you're half-elf? That's so cool!'

'Thanks, but it really isn't. You have a lot to live up to. Okay, your turn.'

So Leia started talking about herself. About her family, school, Wispwood Forest, her many animal encounters, her birthday, and her journey to Thalorwyn. She didn't know why, but talking to Phoebe felt so easy like there was some sort of connection.

'You met the Queen? What was she like?', Phoebe asked after Leia was done talking.

'She was very nice, I do wish she could have told me a bit more about my power and Thalorwyn. It would have been nice if I could have prepared myself a bit.'

'I understand. Anyway, why don't I show you around the school a bit? There won't be many students now, most of them are still sleeping.'

'Okay, let's go!' Leia responded. She couldn't wait to explore the castle, especially if there won't be many people.

'I've been here for a month now, but I don't know every passageway yet. We will have to go exploring together sometime.'

'You've been here for a month?'

'Yeah, my birthday is 24th August, so I started term here on September 1st.'

Leia tried her best to remember that. She couldn't possibly forget the birthday of the one person she had truly connected with her entire life.
