It's Portia's first day at school after the accident. She feels very awkward. All eyes on her as she walks through the hallway and goes into her class.
"Hey there", Brittany said.
"It's nice to have you back. I've really missed you", she continued
Portia didn't know what to reply with so she kept quiet. Their teacher came in and Brittany went back to her sit. Portia later realized that Brittany was one of her friends at school, but her parents didn't live in their side of the country. Portia was her only friend. Portia remembered some of these things, so she went to meet her during their lunch break.
"Hey", Portia said
"Hi", Brittany responded
"How is your gran Gran", Portia asked
Brittany was surprised that Portia actually remembered.
"How did you......"
"I'm sorry, I made u feel strange this morning. The thing is, I really didn't remember. My memories of both of us started coming slowly after u had left me that morning ", Portia told her.
"It's okay, I don't hold anything against you. And Gran is doing okay, thanks for asking. She has been asking of you. She misses you "
"Awwwwn, I would love to see her ", Portia replied
Brittany look around as if looking for someone. Portia noticed her and asked her what she was looking for
"Where is Elon", Brittany asked
"Elon, oh that Freak. I really don't know where he is", Portia replied
"Freak?", Brittany asked in surprise
Portia laughed over it
"Speak of the devil"
Portia turned and saw the freak walking in. She noticed that all the girls were drooling over him. He walked to our direction
"Hey girls, hi Pibbie", Elonis greeted
"Hi", Brittany responded
"Freak", Portia said
"Why do you always call me a freak. I'm older than u are, don't forget that", He responded quite angrily
"Sorry oh wise one", Portia said with a hint of sarcasm
"Whatever ", he responded with a sigh
"So where are we going to this weekend ", Brittany asked
"We could go to the bar close to Hanguk's street, the Wato Bar", Portia said
Brittany and Elonis looked at each other in surprise. Portia realised what had happened and felt a little bit happy
"🤯😁😁, I remembered something, I actually remembered something", Portia said in delight
"That's great. Very great. I'm happy for you", Elonis said with joy on his face
"Well, one thing I cant understand is why u don't remember anything about Elonis. He is ur childhood friend. U both were soo close. So why don't you remember anything about him", Brittany asked in worry
"Calm down Brit, she will remember in due time", Elonis replied
With that, they resumed their eating. Lunch break ended quickly and they went back in for classes. They met together at the end of the day to discuss when they would go to the club
"So 7pm Friday , right", Brittany asked
"Yh, no problem", Elonis said
"I really don't know if my parents will agree", Portia replied
"They will as long as we are there with you", Brittany replied.
"Ok then"
They bade each other farewell and left for their various houses.
