Im standing here in the fitting room staring off into the distance as the woman in front of me takes my measurements i had already picked out this pink dress and needed it to be fitted to me for the vmas i am nominated for 2 awards but ones against Taylor swift so safe to say i wont be winning that one but the awards are ages away I'm just trying to get ahead of the game as recently I've been slacking. I looked down at my phone that was in my hand 3.30pm almost over i think as i bring my attention back to the dress and the woman standing in front of me.

Once i was let go i got into the black suv waiting for me to take me to the venue where the 1975 was playing i quickly called Maria remembering i should probably tell her I'm doing this before actually doing it

she picked up the phone on the 2nd ring
"Hey whats up?"concerned she answered
"So long story short I'm going to the the 1975 show in la tonight"
"Oh ok"she replied quickly calmer than before
"You didnt let me finish"i glared at her through the phone
"They want me to be a special guest and go on stage to sing a song"i continued watching to see her reaction
"Tonight?"she asked
"Yess tonight"
"Oh ok yea that's all good ill let the label know alright have a good night"she rushed
And I could just tell something was wrong but i chose not to bite on it and just said bye and before i knew it we was outside the arena

I texted matty saying that i had arrived and was in the car park behind the venue and within minutes the curly haired boy was peeking his head out of the back door and waving me over to him. I climbed out of the suv and walked over to him he grinned and greeted me with a hug.

"Funny seeing you here babe"matty said sarcastically but i was only focused on the fact he called me babe. I could feel myself heat up and start to go red and i think matty could sense that too as he looked down at me and laughed before saying
"U alright"
"Yesssss just tired"i said trying to play it cool and not embarrass myself
"Ok then"
Matty then span around and opened the door allowing u to follow i mumbled a thank u back and followed him as he walked from hallway to hallway until we reached a door that had 'the 1975' written on it
I took a deep breath before he opened the door and i was immediately overwhelmed with the amount of people that were in the small room most of them were on the sofa but a few were huddled around a table filled with drinks picking and choosing which ones they wanted. Matty walked straight to the sofa and hugged 3 people before introducing me
"This is George, Jamie and Ross"his brown eyes met mine as he spoke.
I looked away from them begrudgingly and introduced myself and hugged each of them as they had now stood up to greet me
"OH don't we know"George said after i had introduced myself and i turned to matty to see that his eyes were already glued to me i giggled as he watched the interaction. I then went round meeting everyone before matty pulled me out of the room to do a sound check before people started to get let in.
"Good darling" he asked after i walked towards him from the stage
"Yea great" i replied trying not to get distracted from his choice of words
At this point I've just accepted that i like matty now every time i talk to him it's just different but a good different he makes me nervous and flustered and there is something so intriguing about him.
We walked back to the room and it was a lot more empty than before however there was a few new faces one of them i recognised as charli xcx i walked over to her with a new wave of confidence
She noticed then said "hey so ur the girl who's replacing me"
I was caught off guard "urrrmmmm sorry i have no clue what ur talking about"
She laughed "of course u don't but just between u and me.."
And then Matty swung the door open
"U guys coming? shows starting now"he said with a grin prominent on his face
"Okkkkk" Charli replied reaching her hand out to me
I took it and started to walk with her as she walked past Matty who was holding the door open she said "i like her but I can't believe u replaced me cause u have a stupid crush"she then looked behind to me while i was stood there a little shocked trying to piece together what this means but also trying to process the fact that MATTY FEELS THE SAME!???
"What a prick " she said and turned back to the front and walked straight towards the stage leaving Matty a little stunned that she actually just said that

Matty pov

I had just walked off the stage and y/n was walking on.i have no idea what she's singing or going to do out there i just know it's gonna be amazing cause she is doing it.she picked up the guitar as George, Adam and Ross walked to stand beside me and started speaking into the mic as everyone in the arena was staring at her in awe including me.
"Hey guyssss, I hope u don't mind me being here i just wanted to sing u guys a song would that be ok ??" The crowd replied by screaming and it was louder than they have ever screamed for me that i was sure of
"Ok sing if u know this one I'm hoping u do" and a song i know all too well starting blaring from the speakers
"THE CITY" i said to George as he was laughing at my shocked state
"What did u think she was gonna sing opera?"he said while continuing to laugh
I rolled my eyes and continued to watch her as she sang the song. It was brilliant i clapped as she put down the guitar and started walking over to me. Ross, Adam and George had all started to walk back on stage y/n acknowledged each one of them.she then stood in front of me and i wrapped my arms around her
"That was amazing thanks for that darling" i said almost feeling her cheeks go red i laughed at her loving that i have this affect on her i let go of her and she looked to the ground and mumbled a thanks i smiled at her and walked back on stage wondering where all this shyness came from what if it was what Charli said ughhhh I'm actually going to kill her.

I walked off stage and to the dressing room expecting to see y/n there but instead my mum was there on the sofa nodding her head at whatever my manager was saying
"Mum?" I said staring at the back of her head
She turned around
"Ohh there u are darling amazing show especially the girl, Jamie was just telling me all about her"
I gave her a deadly look then looked at Jamie
"Where is she"
he replied hesitantly
"I don't know I think she went out to take a phone call"
I turned around and started walking towards the door
" ooo when u find her tell her i still want that picture" i rolled my eyes but still replied with a yes mum. I walked up to the door seeing that it was pouring down with rain she can't possibly be out here but to my surprise there she was her hair dripping wet cascading down her shoulders. Her beautiful bright eyes glistened in the rain
"Fuck" i mumbled under my breath as i ran outside to her
"Y/n why the fuck u out here in the rain"
She looked up startled ending her phone call quickly
"Phone call" she answered quietly looking down at her feet
"No shit" I rolled my eyes but she just grinned for a second before going back to her sad mundane state
"Are u ok?" I asked feeling awkward and almost like i said something I shouldn't have like I normally do
she looked up at me her eyes filled with worry and tears I could see that from a mile away despite the rain that soaked her face
I hugged her whispering words of reassurance as she balled her eyes out into my arms. She left them and looked up at me with a look I've never seen her do before
Within a second her lips were on mine in a soft gentle kiss I couldn't stop her despite knowing it was probably the right thing to do we stood their kissing in the rain for what felt like forever until i hesitantly pulled away i smiled down to her before laughing
"What was that for"
She stood there laughing back and she smiled for the first time in the last 10 minutes.she looked so much lighter than before
"I know u liked it don't try to deny it"
I grinned at her
"Are u seriously okay tho"
She nodded before saying"someone broke into my apartment with a gun and stole loads from my safe, i just got a bit scared and overwhelmed for a minute cause what if I had not been here I could've died tonight"
"Don't say that" I replied
"But its true" she said staring into my eyes but her gaze softened when she met them
"Your actually going to be the death of me i swear" i mumbled as i led her back into the arena

Sorry this chapter took ages I've just gone back to college but finally finished this chapter cause I'm ill and am not at school ill try to be more frequent now tho enjoyyyyy
