The Less I Know The Better

"What do you mean by he knows everything?...Didnt I tell you to keep your mouth shut?!" , Mark was furious, walking around, past Chimon, who was standing in the middle of the room, following Mark's every move with his eyes.
"How did he find out?"
"I don't know....he left a note for Nanon and a clue for me...I met him and told him everything...I-I had to, to regain his trust"
Mark stopped murmuring something unclear to himself, looking up at Chimon, moving closer to him, patting his left shoulder.

"Hmm...it's a good thing that you came straight to me and confessed...that way, we are one step ahead of him...I have to change my strategy now...shit, this Guy is smarter than I thought, which makes this even more exciting", Mark giggled, as his eyes lit up from joy and excitement. How was this exciting?.., Chimon thought. He felt bad for betraying Ohm but he couldn't risk his sister getting hurt. To big was the fear of leaving her faith in the hands of a good friend, who probably didn't even know what Mark was capable of. But he felt bad nonetheless. Ohm was one of his best friends after all. He narrowed his head and buried his face in his hands.
"Come on....come on...what is with the long face? You did everything right Chimon...now I know that he is on to me and that I have to be more careful....I even have a better Idea. You will feed him with all kinds of stories and Information about me...tell him everything you think is relevant, get his trust...meanwhile I will take care of one precious thing he left in my care...", Mark smiled to himself, but it wasn't a crazy or psychotic smile like the ones he usually had, this was a loving smile...could it be that he was referring to Nanon?
"You know Chimon....some people don't deserve curtain people...and it is up to us, to make the right decisions for them...afterall we love them right? So we gotta protect them from predators like Ohm Pawat.", Chimon just nodded slowly, trying to make him feel understood. Of course, he didn't share his opinion about Ohm, but then again he did fell into his trap of thinking that Ohm really was bad for Nanon. For that, Chimon was endlessly sorry. He should have known better, than to trust a stranger. Besides, he perfectly knew how Ohm was. He might have been hot tempered at times, but he never ever seriously hurt Nanon, never.
"Where do you think me might be right now?"
"Who", Chimon asked back confused.
"Santa Claus! Ohm Pawat of course....", Mark snapped back, giving him a clap behind his head.
Chimon looked at him in disbelieve for smacking him but he remained silent. Mark was unpredictable after all.
"I don't know...but hopefully he will contact me soon, like he promised. I think he would want to know what you plan next, to form a strategy to defeat you to get back to Nanon..."

"AND THAT!...", Mark suddenly raised his voice , pointing one finger at Chimon, "IS SOMETHING WE CANT tolerate......we have to protect Nanon, do you understand?", Chimon nodded again.
"I wont let anything happen to my Nanon...he is too precious and beautiful to be hurt...", he took out something small from his pocket, straightened it and starred at it. Chimon came closer. When he got close enough, he fought the urge to clap both his hands over his mouth, out of shock. Mark had a small picture of Nanon and Ohm in his hands, circling Nanon's face with a red pen and crossing the face of Ohm with a black Ink. He was smiling at Nanon's picture and caressed his face on the picture with his hands. It seemed as if he had spaced out.
Suddenly Chimon's Phone vibrated.
He received an SMS from Ohm stating ' in 5 hours at out usual spot....jup jup'. Chimon contemplated whether he should tell Mark or not but since he was so deep in shit anyway, he decided to just tell him. He tapped his shoulder, wanting to get his attention and showed him his phone with the message on it.
"Very good....I will fill you in, with what you can say.....hopefully soon we have him where we want him to be", Mark stated with an evil smile. Chimon nodded sadly.
"Hey...I said stop with the long face. Do you want a motivation?", He took out his phone and showed him a video of his sister, smiling and seemingly having fun. She didn't even realized that she got recorded. Fuck.
"See? She is alright...and as long as you do as I say...it will remain that way...", Mark patted him on the shoulder and turn to pack up some things to leave, it seemed.
"I will be leaving to get some things....I might go and visit Nanon today, I have missed him. He is not picking up my calls and his mother also won't let me see him...I might get through to him with Nonnie's help. She seems reasonable", he smiled again, packing up some more things.
After a while he turned into Chimon's direction, who was still just standing there, thinking about everything that has happened.
"What are you still doing here? Chub Chub get out of my room....Your work is done here", and with that Chimon took his belongings and left. It was 3 am in the afternoon, when he left Mark's place. Soon he would meet Ohm again....
