Chapter 2: Opposite feelings on monday

Y/N pov, paragraph 1: "I woke up on a beautiful Monday morning, The sun shined brightly through my bedroom window as I started getting ready for school . Being 18 now means it's my last year of going to school. I rushed to get dressed and brushed my teeth, knowing today was gonna be a good day. I rushed out the door, happily walking to the new high school I was enrolled in today. "Man, I hope I meet some new friends today!" ,I said to myself in my head. You see, in my culture, finding a penny heads up on the floor means good luck to come! And guess what I found on the floor on my walk to school? A fucking penny! Heads up! Felt like some freaky Friday shit but still!"

Lexi pov paragraph 1: "I woke up feeling glued to my bed. I hate Mondays. Summer just ended and now it's back to school for me. I slowly get up from my bed, rubbing my eyes and stretching to wake myself up. Good thing I'm old enough to drink coffee, cause otherwise I'd be screwed today. I looked at myself in the mirror. Being a popular gamer's daughter is unimaginably hard. It's not all looking pretty and being rich, And Especially when your entire family are millionaires at that. I'm surprised nobody has robbed us yet despite our address being posted online. I walked downstairs and headed into the kitchen. Brewing myself a pot of coffee. Once it's finished, I just add a few things before drinking it. I head back to my room, applying the light makeup I usually put on and obviously there's that five minute dilemma on whether or not I should wear my glasses today. I mean, don't Need them anymore but they look so cute on me! I decide to take them today, and made my way to school.

Y/N pov paragraph 2: "After my small "High on life moment." I entered the school, instantly greeted with the smell of... Sakura flowers? I had to admit, it smelled really good. I grabbed a map of the school and Made my way down the hallway, finding my locker and shoving all my stuff in and kept my newfound lucky penny in my pocket. Finding my new homeroom, room 209, I entered as the teacher introduced me as Y/N coming out all the way from NYC to be here. I only saw one open desk, next to these two hot girls. Obviously I took it, being waved at by said girls, But then My eyes eventually darted to the door when I saw this girl with cheetah print glasses come in."

Lexi pov paragraph 2: "When I finally arrived to school, I remembered it was Valentine's Day in a few weeks so they were throwing flowers and chocolates around like crazy. I sighed internally knowing this year was gonna be the hardest of them all. Especially dealing with... That. Guys asking me out left And right. Not to mention they're going especially hard this year considering teenagers are most likely starting to start dating before adulthood. Besides thinking of that, I made my way to my classroom, opening the door, still slightly tired yet looking as I usually would. The "Cutesy calm look." I noticed some guy/girl was sitting in my seat next to my friends. (*can't assume the readers gender, sorry!*) Not like I cared so I just stood in the corner of the room and still listened to whatever the teacher said."
(P.S, yeah I'm talking to you, reader! I know it's reader x Lexi so sorry for their late interaction. And I know this is the first time they see each other. We're 4 parts in and I'm this late to it. Sorry!)

Y/N pov paragraph 3: "I couldn't help but notice the girl in the back of the class just standing in the corner of the room. She was really pretty... ("Snap out of it Y/N! You can't make a fool of yourself on your lucky day!") I said to myself in my head as I occasionally shot glances at the girl. she had her arms crossed and she looked pretty serious. (Oooh! Intimidating!) But one moment when I looked over at her, she looked back at me and our eyes connected. I was too shocked and slightly scared to move. We were pretty much staring at each other. My face heated up, I couldn't look away for whatever reason. The longer I stared, the more my mouth dropped. This wasn't just any ordinary pretty girl. This was... FGTEEV LEXI!?!!! I froze up. I couldn't look away and I couldn't speak. Same class, same school, and same neighborhood. HOW THE HELL?? MIKE IS 16, THAT MEANS HE'S GONNA BE HERE TOO!!Eventually she broke the "Staring contest" when the teacher called her up to the board to answer a question about Solving for x in the simple question 2 multiplied by (x)= 16. As soon as she answered, and so quickly too, That's the moment when I just knew I had to talk more to this girl.

Lexi pov paragraph 3: "I was just standing there in the corner, listening to everything the teacher said when eventually I kept seeing the guy/girl that jacked my seat kept looking at me. But Duddz taught me a trick when I was a kid that I always kept up my sleeve for people who stare at me like a weirdo. I looked him dead in the eyes, completely silent. We just stared at each other. For what felt like 5 minutes before the teacher called me up to the board. I answered the question flawlessly and went back to my corner. And that's when the teacher noticed I didn't have a seat."
