### Author's POV
The engines roared to life as the race began, the vehicles shooting forward like bullets from a gun. Ishita was on her bike, her focus razor-sharp as she navigated the road with ease. In one car, Shivendra and Aryan were already pulling ahead, Shivendra's smirk reflecting his confidence. Behind them was Shubh with Akshay, their car close on Shivendra's tail, while Guri and Arjun followed in the last car. Ishita, bringing up the rear, was determined to change the outcome. As they all reached the highway, the real race began. Ishita's eyes narrowed in concentration, her hands steady on the handlebars as she leaned forward, feeling the familiar rush of adrenaline. She knew this bike inside out, and as the road opened up before her, she twisted the throttle, her speed climbing rapidly. The needle on her speedometer hovered around 140 km/h as she expertly maneuvered through the traffic.Guri and Shubh were focused on maintaining their positions, but they didn't anticipate what came next. Like a flash, Ishita overtook Guri's car with precision, leaving him staring in surprise at her taillights. Within moments, she was beside Shubh's car. Shubh glanced sideways, his expression shifting from surprise to pride as Ishita gave him a quick, determined smile before surging ahead. Now, only Shivendra was left in her path. He glanced at his rearview mirror, his smirk fading slightly as he saw her gaining on him. Beside him, Aryan, growing increasingly anxious, urged him on. "Bhai, drive faster! She's catching up!"But Ishita was relentless. Her bike hummed beneath her, and with every gear shift, she closed the gap between them. Shivendra could feel the tension rise as she drew level with his car, their vehicles now neck and neck. The competitive fire in his eyes met hers for a brief moment, and then she was past him, her bike slicing through the air as she took the lead.Shivendra pressed down on the accelerator, pushing the car to its limits, but Ishita had already seized the advantage. She wove effortlessly through the traffic, her movements fluid and instinctive. The road home was hers now, and she wasn't about to let anyone take that victory from her.In the car, Aryan watched in disbelief as Ishita pulled further ahead, the distance between them growing with each passing second. Shivendra, still smirking but with a newfound respect, kept up the chase, but he knew she had the upper hand.By the time they reached home, Ishita was already there, her bike parked neatly in the driveway. She removed her helmet, her hair cascading down as she shook it out, a triumphant grin on her face. The roar of the cars pulling in behind her was music to her ears, but nothing compared to the satisfaction of knowing she had beaten them all fair and square. One by one, the cars rolled to a stop, their drivers stepping out with expressions ranging from shock to admiration. Guri was the first to speak, a laugh escaping him as he shook his head in disbelief. "Ishita, you're a maniac on that bike!"Shubh, walking over with a proud smile, ruffled her hair. "I knew you'd give us a run for our money, but that was something else, Ishii."Shivendra, however, was quiet as he approached her. His earlier smugness had been replaced by a look of genuine admiration. "You're full of surprises, aren't you?" he said, his voice low but with a hint of something warmer, something that made Ishita's heart skip a beat. She met his gaze with a playful grin. "You'd better get used to it," she replied, the challenge in her tone unmistakable. The race had ended, but for Ishita and Shivendra, something else had just begun.
### Ishita's POVAs I parked my bike in the driveway, the rush of adrenaline was still coursing through my veins. The wind whipping past me, the thrill of overtaking those cars—it was pure exhilaration. I took off my helmet, letting my hair fall freely, and couldn't help the triumphant smile that spread across my face. The sound of the cars pulling in behind me was satisfying, a clear sign that I had won. Guri's laugh echoed in the air, and Shubh's pride was evident as he ruffled my hair. But even in this moment of victory, something else was tugging at my attention. When Shivendra stepped out of his car, my breath hitched for reasons I couldn't quite place. Gone was the smirk that had annoyed me earlier, replaced by something deeper—admiration, maybe even respect. But it was his voice that really got to me."You're full of surprises, aren't you?" he said, his voice low and husky, sending an unexpected shiver down my spine. My heart skipped a beat, betraying me in the worst possible way. Oh god, why did his voice have to sound like that? So rich, so smooth, with just the right amount of warmth. It was a voice that could melt steel, let alone my resolve.I forced a grin, trying to play it cool. "You'd better get used to it," I shot back, but my voice didn't carry the same confidence it usually did. Inside, I was a mess. How could a few simple words from him make me feel like this?I mentally shook myself, trying to snap out of it. This was ridiculous. I didn't get flustered, not by anyone, and definitely not by some guy I barely knew. But as he continued to look at me with that intense gaze, I could feel the warmth rising in my cheeks.Focus, Ishita, I reminded myself. This was nothing—just a fluke, a momentary lapse. I was still in control, still the same strong, confident woman. But as Shivendra walked closer, his eyes not leaving mine, I couldn't help but wonder if maybe, just maybe, I had finally met someone who could make me lose that control.
### Shivendra's POV
I watched as Ishita sped past me on her bike, her determination fierce and unyielding. It was impressive, really—the way she handled that machine with such precision and confidence. I was proud of her, though I would never admit it out loud. The smirk I'd been wearing during the race slowly faded into something more thoughtful as I pulled into the driveway behind her. When she removed her helmet, her hair cascading down, there was something undeniably captivating about the way she stood there, triumphant and exhilarated. I felt a swell of admiration that I quickly pushed down. This wasn't the time for distractions. But then I said something—just a casual comment, really—and her reaction was priceless. The slight pause, the way her breath seemed to catch for a moment, it was as if I'd caught her off guard, and it was oddly satisfying."You're full of surprises, aren't you?" I had said, my tone deliberately low, almost teasing. The way she responded, trying to maintain her composure, made me suppress a grin. Her voice, when she finally answered, was something else entirely. It wasn't just the words, but the sound of her voice—soft, almost musical, like something out of a dream. It was the kind of voice that could draw you in without you even realizing it, like some sort of angel. For a brief second, I wondered what it would be like to hear her speak in that tone more often, not just in response to some competitive banter but in a moment that was... different. I shook off the thought, realizing I was letting my mind wander too far. But I couldn't help but notice how she looked slightly flustered, like she wasn't used to someone challenging her like this. It was intriguing, watching her try to regain her footing, to keep up that strong front. But inside, I knew I had seen a glimpse of something more—a side of her that wasn't all ice and sharp edges. And for some reason, that made me want to push her buttons a little more, just to see how far I could go, and to hear that angelic voice again.
