As soon as the date for the engagement was set, the Rathore Mansion was filled with an air of joy and excitement. Ishita and Shivendra were on cloud nine, their hearts brimming with happiness. Every corner of the grand mansion seemed to glow with the anticipation of the upcoming celebration, as friends and family eagerly awaited the union of the two lovebirds.

"Woah, Ishu, you look stunning!" Tanya Malhotra, Ishita's best friend, exclaimed, her eyes wide with admiration."Thanks, Tanya," Ishita replied, her voice soft as she smiled shyly."Today, Jiju is going to be completely smitten," teased Meher Kaur, another of Ishita's closest friends, with a mischievous glint in her eye.Ishita's cheeks flushed a rosy pink, the thought of Shivendra sending a rush of warmth through her.Just then, Shubh entered the room, his voice breaking the girlish giggles. "Girls, are you all set?" he asked, his eyes softening as he looked at his sister.Shubh couldn't help but be struck by how beautiful Ishita looked. "Haye, my princess looks like a queen today," he said, his voice full of pride. At that moment, Guri and Raghav, Ishita's brothers, stepped in. As they saw their sister dressed up, the reality of the upcoming wedding hit them hard. The playful teasing gave way to a wave of emotion that tugged at their hearts.Ishita, always sensitive to her brothers' feelings, noticed the shift in the room. To lighten the mood, she turned to Raghav and quipped, "Raghu, you actually look a little decent today. Almost like a real human being."Raghav chuckled, quickly recovering his playful spirit. "Dii, I'm always handsome. Every girl out there wants me," he boasted with a wink."Oh, really? Well, we don't!" Meher and Tanya shot back in unison, pretending to be unimpressed."That's because you two have terrible taste," Raghav retorted, grinning. Not wanting to let him have the last word, Meher and Tanya lunged at him, determined to catch him. Raghu, quick on his feet, dashed out of the room, with the two girls chasing after him, their laughter echoing through the halls.Meanwhile, Ishita, Guri, and Shubh watched the scene unfold, their earlier emotions replaced with the warmth of family love. The laughter and playful banter filled the mansion with a sense of togetherness, making the moment even more special.

Meanwhile, in Shivendra's room, the atmosphere was a mix of excitement and nerves."Bhaiii sa, how much longer are you going to take?" Aryan, Shivendra's younger cousin, called out impatiently."I'm ready, I'm right here," Shivendra replied, stepping out.But it was clear from his expression that something was off. He looked nervous, a little too nervous, and was smiling like a fool.Vikram Singh, Shivendra's best friend from college, noticed immediately. With a teasing grin, he said, "Shivendra, I still can't believe you're the first one among us to get married. You were the one who always said in college that marriage was a waste of time!"Shivendra let out a nervous laugh, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah, well, people change, don't they?" he replied, his voice betraying the excitement and nervousness bubbling inside him.Vikram clapped him on the back. "I guess you found the one who made you change your mind. It's still hard to believe, though."Shivendra nodded, his thoughts wandering to Ishita. "Yeah, she's worth it," he said softly, the nervous smile turning into one of genuine affection."Alright, enough of this sappy talk," Aryan chimed in, trying to lighten the mood. "Let's get you downstairs before the girls start thinking you ran away!"With that, the group shared a laugh, the tension easing as they prepared to head to the engagement ceremony.
