Author P.O.V---
As they went inside, Ishita saw her mom and dad waiting with an aarti thali. Her mom made the four boys stand together and started performing the aarti. Ishita, with a slight frown, questioned, "Mom, why do they need aarti?" "Because they are our guests," her mom replied, her tone patient yet firm."Annoying and nakchare guests..." Ishita mumbled under her breath, rolling her eyes. Guri, Shubh, and Shivendra all caught her quiet remark, each reacting differently. Guri struggled to hold back his laughter, Shubh gave her a quick pinch on the arm, making her wince, and Shivendra simply smirked. After the aarti, they moved inside, and Ishita's mom asked her to show the guests to their rooms. Ishita grudgingly complied, giving them a quick tour of the house. Once her "three dumb guests," as she mentally labeled them, and her two beloved brothers were settled in their rooms, only Shivendra and Ishita remained in the hallway.Suddenly, Shivendra reached out, gently pulling her arm to stop her. Leaning in close, he whispered in her ear, "Tumhe hum 'annoying' lagte hain, phir bhi tumhari nazar humse hatti hi nahi."Ishita froze, her breath hitching as she processed his words. The playful tone in his voice sent a shiver down her spine, leaving her momentarily speechless.
Ishita quickly gathered herself, trying to shake off the effect of Shivendra's words. "H-here is your room," she stammered, pointing to the door.
Shivendra, still amused by her flustered state, leaned casually against the doorframe. "And where is your room?" he asked, a teasing lilt in his voice."Next to yours," Ishita replied, her voice barely above a whisper as she looked down, avoiding his gaze. Before Shivendra could say anything else, Ishita spun on her heel and hurried down the hallway, almost running to the safety of her room. As the door clicked shut behind her, she could hear Shivendra's deep laughter echoing through the hallway, the sound lingering in her mind long after.
Ishita's POV
Oh god, we were so close. I could feel his breath on my face, and I was sure he could hear my heartbeat racing. My cheeks felt like they were on fire as I stammered and tried to keep my composure. How could he make me feel this way?
As soon as I closed the door to my room, I heard his laughter echoing down the hallway. Unknowingly, a smile crept onto my face, and I felt a warm blush spreading across my cheeks.
I couldn't believe it—this boy had the audacity to make me, the so-called "cold Ishita," blush. I shook my head, trying to suppress the smile that was stubbornly spreading across my lips.
Why did he have to make things so complicated? I was supposed to be annoyed, not smiling like a schoolgirl with a crush. Ugh, this boy was driving me crazy. But as I sat down on my bed, I couldn't deny that his daring charm had left a lasting impression.
**Shivendra's POV**Oh god, her chubby cheeks with that red tint—seriously, she's going to be the death of me. I never imagined that the so-called "cold Ishita" could have such an effect on me. The sight of her flustered and blushing like that was almost too much to handle.I shook my head, trying to get rid of the lingering thoughts. How could a mafia boss like me be so affected by a single, playful moment? This was getting ridiculous. I needed to get a grip. A cold shower was definitely in order to cool off, and I had to focus on taking care of business. No more distractions. But damn, that smile of hers... it was going to haunt me.
Author's POV
A few hours later, as the evening drew in, everyone gathered downstairs for dinner, except Shivendra. Ishita's mother, noticing Shivendra's absence, asked Ishita to fetch him before they began their meal. Ishita, feeling a mix of reluctance and responsibility, made her way to Shivendra's room.
Taking a deep breath, she knocked gently on the door. "Come in," came Shivendra's casual response from inside. Ishita pushed open the door and entered, but the sight that greeted her made her stop dead in her tracks.
Shivendra stood in the middle of the room, shirtless, his sculpted physique illuminated by the soft light. The room was filled with an unexpected silence, broken only by Ishita's sharp intake of breath. Her eyes widened as her cheeks flushed a deep crimson.
"Oh my god!" Ishita exclaimed, turning away quickly, her face burning with embarrassment. She felt her heart race, thudding loudly in her ears. The reality of the situation had her blushing furiously, her thoughts a chaotic whirl.
Shivendra, initially surprised by the sudden appearance of Ishita, was soon overtaken by a playful smirk. The sight of Ishita flustered was both amusing and captivating. He slowly sauntered over to her, his steps deliberate and confident.
As he approached, Ishita felt the air around her grow warmer. She could feel Shivendra's presence close behind her, his breath gently caressing her neck. She shivered involuntarily, her nerves on edge.
Shivendra leaned in, his voice a seductive whisper that sent tingles down her spine. "Tumhare itne close aane ka mauka mila hai, to main kaise chup rahoon?" he murmured, his voice laced with a teasing undertone. (With such a close chance to be near you, how can I stay quiet?)
His words made Ishita's breath hitch, her hands trembling slightly as she tried to maintain her composure. She felt a mix of embarrassment and exhilaration. Turning her head just enough to glance at him, she saw the amusement dancing in his eyes.
"Yeh kya ho raha hai? Aap toh hamesha itne serious lagte hain," Ishita managed to say, her voice barely above a whisper. (What's going on? You always seem so serious.)
Shivendra chuckled softly, the sound warm and rich. He placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, turning her slowly to face him. "Serious? Kabhi kabhi toh mazaak bhi zaroori hai. Aur tumhare saamne aise hi haseen pal guzarne ka mazaa kuch aur hi hai." (Serious? Sometimes, fun is necessary too. And spending beautiful moments like these with you is something else entirely.)
Ishita's heart fluttered at his words. She looked up, meeting his gaze, and saw the genuine warmth in his eyes, mixed with the playful glint. Her cheeks were still flushed, and she could hardly believe how a simple encounter had turned into this heart-throbbing moment.
"Ishita, tumhare itne nazdeek hone par, tumhari khushboo se main behad bekarar hoon," Shivendra said softly, his voice a low, seductive murmur. (I'm completely restless with your close presence and your fragrance.)
Ishita's breath caught in her throat as Shivendra's face came closer. The intimacy of the moment was overwhelming. Her heart raced, and she could feel the heat from his body.
Finally, realizing the situation and the effect it was having on her, Ishita cleared her throat and managed to regain some composure. "Dinner tayyar hai. Aap jaldi se tayar ho jaiye," she said, her voice slightly shaky but determined. (Dinner is ready. Please get ready quickly.)
Shivendra's smile widened as he watched her retreating figure. "Ek minute, Ishita," he called out, stopping her before she could leave. "Tumhari itni jaldi ki wajah se lagta hai ki tum mere saath time spend nahi karna chahti." (One minute, Ishita. Your haste makes me feel like you don't want to spend time with me.)
His teasing tone made Ishita's heart skip a beat. She turned back to look at him, her expression a mix of frustration and fondness. "Main aapke saath dinner ke liye pareshan nahi hoon," she said, trying to sound stern but failing to hide her smile. (I'm not troubled about dinner with you.)
As she left the room, Shivendra watched her with a content smile. The playful interaction had left him with a sense of satisfaction, and he couldn't help but anticipate the evening's events with renewed interest.
Ishita, meanwhile, hurried downstairs, her mind still reeling from the unexpected flirtation. The evening had taken an intriguing turn, and she couldn't deny the growing curiosity about the man who had just left her heart racing.
Ishita's POV
Oh god, haye waheguru, my heart is racing so fast, someone calm it down. And my cheeks are so red! Why am I so embarrassed? And his abs... oh god, his physique is just perfect. Those veins, those lines... no, Ishita, shut up! What are you thinking?
All I can understand is why my heart is beating so fast. I can't think of anything else; I'm just focused on how intense and confusing this moment is for me. Maybe I need to relax for a bit and get my thoughts together. For now, I should just get ready for dinner and deal with everything else later.
