Samantha wondered why she agreed to take this trip...

For my future, she thought as she sat on the luxurious seat of this private jet...

Now more than anything, Samantha was thinking of only one thing: realizing her dream of becoming a lawyer. This dream that she had abandoned because she could not afford such expensive studies and also because she had to take care of her grandmother who was very ill at the time...

But today, Samantha felt her life reborn, and all this thanks to Mrs. Mondadori who had promised to pay for her studies. What had embarrassed her at first, but she ended up accepting...

And that's how she found herself on this luxurious jet with Mrs. Mondadori.

The latter had noticed from the beginning the amazed expression of the young woman when she saw her private jet, she was impressed by its size, and it was obvious that it was her first time to get into such a device.

She looks like a little girl who had just received lots of toys, thought Ms. Mondadori, amused by the situation but preferring not to comment on it so as not to make the young woman more uncomfortable.

- So, are you ready for a new life in Italy? Asked Mrs. Mondadori to break the silence which weighed down the atmosphere.

- Uh yes, but I'm a little nervous. Replied Samantha, internally troubled by the idea of leaving Greece for a country she did not know.

- It's normal my daughter, it's not always easy to leave your native land, but you'll see that you'll get used to it little by little. She reassured her with a kind smile of which only she had the secret.

- Yes, you are probably right. Samantha said, nodding before going silent not knowing what to say.

Alberta wanted to continue this conversation, so she asked her:

- Tell me, what do you plan to do at university?

- The law, replied Samantha. My dream has always been to become a lawyer...

- Lawyer? Interrupted Alberta, that's interesting! But it's a pity that you won't be able to agree with my grandsons on this subject!

- Oh, do you have grandchildren? Asked Samantha.

- Seven grandsons. Alberta replied proudly.

- Seven grandsons? Great! Said Samantha cheerfully. You should be a very happy grandmother...

- Obviously, I am! But I preferred when the first five were still little, they were very turbulent, they did mischief all the time and then they always came to take refuge in my arms so that their parents would not punish them. Said the old lady with a laugh before dragging the young woman into her laughter.

- I would like everything to go back to the way it was before. Alberta said with a sad face.

- What do you mean by "everything goes back to the way it was before"? Asked the young woman, questioned by the sudden sadness of the old lady.

- I didn't tell you, but I lost my husband in a traffic accident, and shortly after, it was my daughter's turn to die suddenly. Confessed Mrs. Mondadori, still with that sad face.

- Oh, I'm sorry Mrs. Mondadori. She said, holding her hand to comfort her.

- Since that day, the house is no longer what it was; I had fallen into a deep depression, and my son had taken control of the family business and had become harder and more arrogant than ever...

Samantha listened to poor Mrs. Mondadori without interrupting her, she was deeply saddened to know that life had not been tender with this woman who had a golden heart.

- And as for my grandsons, continued the old lady. Their father had created a certain rivalry between them to the point that some of them began to hate each other... She said bitterly with a few tears streaming down her cheeks.

- This is all my fault, she continued.

- No, it's not your fault Mrs. Mondadori...

- It's my fault, Samantha! I should have been there for them, they were also upset to have lost their aunt and grandfather, I should have prevented my son from making monsters of them.

- Mrs. Mondadori, you know my grandmother always said that we must "let time do things", you will see that everything will be fine, reassured Samantha with a comforting smile. And besides, boys always argue with each other, that's only normal! I'm sure they still love each other deep down, and at some point, they will not hesitate to protect each other. She said with a warm smile... Just be patient and you will see!

While Samantha was still speaking, Mrs. Mondadori noticed a rainbow glow in her eyes... It symbolized peace, harmony, and hope. Hope...

Alberta was not sure of anything, but something told her that Samantha's arrival would change the course of their lives.
