He got up and wiped the drool off of his mouth. What day was it?

HOLY FUCK IT WAS FRIDAY! HE HAD COLLEGE TODAY!

He wondered if he even had any nice outfits clean, laundry was not his favorite thing in the world.

He checking his closet and luckily he did have something. He had some black pants, a black blazer, and a cream colored turtleneck.

He always tired to dress a little more serious for college since he wanted his professors to take him seriously. He always struggled to take himself seriously back in his demon slayer corps days, and that constantly led to him being underestimated.

He recently rekindled with a girl who helped him out a few times a few years ago. Her name was Aoi. She was an ex-demon slayer who retired early to work as a medic at the butterfly mansion, she'd saved his life like once or twice. . . but who's really counting?

She wasn't really the nicest to him though, all of her sentences were very harshly worded. She told him that the reason no one took him seriously was because he didn't even take himself seriously.

She was so fucking right.

Inosuke started applying himself in the college classes he was taking and even dressing a little more professionally. It honestly felt kind of good, he felt like he was maturing.

He almost immediately noticed changes in the way people saw him, he felt like a more like able person.

However, he could still act out and have a wild time with his best friends, Tanjirou, Zenitsu, and Genya. He didn't care as much about their view of him because he knew that their friendship was formed by an unbreakable bond: trauma.

"TANJIROU! ZENTISU! WE'RE LATE FOR FIRST BLOCK!" He yelled from the bathroom, whilst he brushed through his blue hair.

"IT'S A SATURDAY DIPSHIT!" Zentisu yelled back from his bed.

Tanjirou slumped into the bathroom and yelled out "Kind language guys!" He yawned. "The schedule in the kitchen says Saturday."

"My phone says Friday." He held up the screen.

"Oh no," he groaned "Who's on driving duty?" They didn't mind it practical for them to all drive to college separately so they each had their designated days to drive the group. Zenitsu was Monday and Wednesday, Tanjirou was Tuesday and Thursday, and Inosuke was Friday. He had the smaller shift because he was by far the worst driver.

"Me, I'll wake up Zenitsu while you get dressed."

Everyone started doing their part, they kissed first block but they made it for second.

Inosuke had biology, his personal favorite.

"Ino! Over here!" Ahhh there was his nickname. The only person who ever called him that was-

"Aoi!" He called out back to her, taking the seat beside her. "Me and my roomies thought that today was Saturday so we slept in."

"Ohhh that explains it, I just thought you didn't want to go to geometry." She giggled.

She was pretty, any body with eyes could tell you that. He liked her face the most when she was smiling, he liked it even more when it was because of him.

They took notes for a while, and then compare the notes they took.

"Hey, can I say something un-school-work related?" He liked her voice. It was smooth and calming. He rarely felt calm. Aoi made him calm.

"Is that even a question? I love talking about anything but school!"

She giggled again. But then her smile dropped and her face got serious, "You just seem. . . different."
