Clinging To Love

Chapter 3

Leah felt inspired seeing Brooke waking up next to her day by day left a smile even though her thoughts knew it would be time before Terri would come home and want her which killed inside being that she had no one once them two got together. Brooke stirred looking at Leah saying,

"You are up early."

Leah smiled replying,

"Yeah, thinking of things."

Brooke sat up beside her responding,

"You don't have to stay with me knowing my heart belongs elsewhere."

Leah shook her head responding,

"I can't do that it isn't that easy, you see once you leave to Terri who would I have?"

Brooke sighed heavily knowing that this would come replying,

"If Terri is heading this way any time soon, she will have someone with her or not can't verify but their is someone out there for everyone."

Leah stood up walking off heading outside to the porch without coffee knowing Brooke said the wrong words though it is truth because Terri is social able she would find anyone to keep her from going sane.

Brooke felt her heart weakening as she dropped on the kitchen floor. Leah standing outside heard something drop like the sound of a coffee cup ignoring it though knowing Brooke could be okay by picking it up, after a few minutes she heard no footsteps from Brooke at all so Leah rushes inside finding Brooke on the kitchen floor, splashing water and everything trying to get Brooke awake no response. Leah dialed 9-1-1 to get an ambulance out to them quick. The EMT's arrived there within thirty minutes placing Brooke on the stretcher putting her in the ambulance as Leah follows behind in the truck to the hospital.

Leah is panicking while driving behind the ambulance not sure which hospital they are headed too. Losing someone very unusual since it throw her for a loop why she is running. Leah isn't sure what is going on with Brooke as they reach the hospital rushing out of the truck running for dear life to get to her room the same time tears falling knowing she could or have killed her friend that she loved. Terri ever finds out about this while she is away it would be the death of Leah for sure.

Leah speaks to Brooke explaining how sorry she is for taking advantage of her and that she had to leave because she didn't want Terri ever finding out that she did this especially if Brooke did died. Leah walks out of the hospital in tears knowing their is nothing she can do except for to head home packing her things leaving Brooke. Instead of heading home to pack her things Leah walks into a bar and drinks herself away from reality so no one could see the tears.

Brooke feeling herself weakening from the coma she knew something is tugging her from the reality. Brooke feels herself floating out of her body, realizing that she can't go. She has to wake up hoping Terri or someone can get her out of this before it is too late since she didn't want to die without the one person beside her. Brooke realized that she hasn't heard anything from Leah in a while that is how she figured that she is leaving this world. Brooke doesn't want to leave though without someone with her, to keep her going in high spirits. Trying to force herself awake still isn't working at all no matter how hard she is trying her body doesn't want to wake up at all.
