Chapter 9

Terri,Leah, and Gale headed home to Brooke and Brianna so they can reveal the news even though Gale kept looking in the back seat in the car behind them to see Terri as Leah held her hand squeezing a bit asking,

"What is wrong love?"

Gale snapped back in front looking at Leah with tears responding,

"How could that have happened? Why didn't we questioned? Is Terri hiding something about Lavender and Rose? Come on Leah we have to go back and see what them police are up to. Brianna will be fine with Brooke and Terri for a little while longer, I just want to know what is going on."

Leah squeezed Gale's hand more replying,

"Babe, you need to relax everything will be okay, let's go home and relax for everyone sake."

Gale didn't argue that fact they needed sleep after being up most the night talking. As they got to the house everyone rushed in side as Gale took Brianna from Brooke as Brooke looked Gale like something seriously was wrong but didn't dare to ask either one of the ladies in the room.

Brooke rushed over to Terri giving her a big hug then whispered,

"Can we leave please?"

Terri nodded agreeing that they needed to head home so they left to head next door so Brianna,Leah and Gale could rest and they needed to as well. Terri looked at Brooke as they got into the house urging to ask her what was wrong since she sensed something bad stirred in the other home, so she politely grabbed Brooke's hand saying,

"What is going on baby? you seemed on edge next door."

Brooke snatched her hand out of Terri's saying,

"I am on edge cause Gale didn't say what was wrong with her."

Terri looked confused on what she was talking about so she responded back,

"Babe, if their is something wrong she will talk about it, I'm sure it'll blow over."

Brooke slammed her hand down on the table looking dead center at Terri replying,

"Okay then Terri why would she be upset care to tell me?"

Terri stood thinking about it long and hard not sure how to respond without pissing Brooke off more so she replied,

"The only thing I can remember from earlier is the officer didn't question her or Leah on the situation on Rose and Lavender."

Brooke stunned at the answer she got went up to Terri replying,

"You mean to tell me that they didn't need them two at all?"

Terri responded,

"Yes, baby I told them everything, so I don't know why Gale would be upset. Leah,Gale and you have no clue as to why them two did what they did seriously it is only me they were after not Gale."

Leah went to the kitchen grabbing her and Gale some milk to keep their fluids up. When Leah walked into the nursery to give Gale her drink but she was reading to Brianna a book about the jungle animals which made Brianna cooed into a sweet soothing sleep. Leah quickly placed the milks down on the kitchen counter turning around coming to a screeching halt facing Gale eye to eye as they both look up and down at one another Leah sharply asked,

"Baby, what is bothering you?"

Gale pushes Leah out of the way to get her glass of milk as Leah tries to asks again,

"Okay babe, what the heck is going on with you, ever since the car ride home that we didn't go back to the police station you been on edge, you even made Terri and Brooke leave without them saying goodbye to either of us."
