Amelia met her mom's outside of the jail as she took a deep breath outside seeing snowflakes hit her nose as she shivered. Amelia walked as fast as she could to the car than climbed inside warming up. Terri smiled looking behind at Amelia saying,
"How was it?"
Amelia smiled replying,
"Better than I thought after her staying there a day. Brianna accepted the ring and letter, so now it is a waiting game for her to come home to us."
Terri and Brooke nodded as they drove off, heading back home so they could relax for a while since Amelia still had school work to complete. Amelia couldn't wait to tell Kyle and Kayla what is going on since them two got together they've been inseparable. Even though she could have texted them both she figured Kyle probably dragged Kayla to church and lunch also probably a movie.
Amelia took a deep breath saying,
"Mom, how long do you think Brianna is going to be in there?"
Brooke looked at Terri as she gave the okay then Brooke responded,
"Amelia sweetheart, since she almost murdered someone and did things she shouldn't have I would estimate five to ten years for not murdering Mia but attempting it is a big enough charge."
Amelia knew this is going to be a long wait to see what happens with Brianna. Amelia and her mom's arrived home around two o'clock so that way she could get started on her homework and be ready for bed by ten o'clock even though she wasn't ready to face school on Monday with Kyle and Kayla will probably support her through it all knowing that Brianna is in jail for all that she has done.
Amelia wanted nothing more than to be happy with someone she could love including for Brianna. She wasn't sure that she could wait five to ten years or longer for Brianna since she had a life outside of the jail. Even though her mother's have told her that they could make arrangements to where they could see each other until Brianna is moved to a Prison within the state but that could be a while since Brianna's sentence hasn't gone through yet.
Amelia ran downstairs to her mom's to see that they were cuddling on the couch watching "Blue is the Warmest Color", she came up behind the couch saying,
"Mom, I am having doubts about me and Brianna this is probably not a smart move since she could end up in prison for many years along with a very long parole, her sentence could be for as long as I am in my thirties or older. I want love with someone but waiting on her could be forever."
Terri made room for Amelia to sit on the couch in between them both as Brooke paused the movie than Terri replied,
"Sweetheart, these are your decisions not ours, we love you and we love Brianna just as much. It is up to you to decide what is best for you not what we decide even Gale and Leah will tell you that they aren't going to be upset if you leave Brianna again. I am sure Brianna has a lot going on with her new cell mates and such."
Amelia shook her head with tears streaming down responding,
"Why must life be so difficult on love and commitment? Momma, you loved mom long before seeing her again how did you handle anything when she married Monica?"
Brooke sighed hating when it came to discussing the past of her and Terri but with a teenager you don't get much of an option as she replied,
"Amelia, I had no choice your mother wanted love and I couldn't give it due to distance along with tackling health problems. When your mother got with Monica I was a complete wreck and couldn't handle the fact that she ditched me for some stuck up snob especially when she made me stop talking to Terri, she meant everything to me and I lost her."
