"Do you ever feel like mom gets lonely when we're out of the house?"Lacy said to Logan while he was trying to find a movie
"Uhm I don't know I never thought of it"
Logan replied
"I mean Lilly's moved out, your away at Princeton and I'm hanging out with my friends"
"So I can imagine it being pretty lonely"
"Here's a solution. Why don't you just stop hanging out with your friends" Logan said smiling
"Oh and this coming from the guy who goes out everyday with his friends when he comes back home" Lacy then said
"Okay fine. You have a point. But what are we supposed to do buy her a dog?"
"I was thinking of more setting her up with someone like dating"
"Your serious?"
"Yeah I'm serious"
"I mean it's not a bad idea but"
The doorbell rang
"That must be pizza. I'll get it" Lacy got up and ran to the door
Lacy opened the door to see it wasn't the pizza guy at the door it was Abby.
"Hey girl just wanted to come check on you after school today, you alright?" Abby said coming in
"Yeah I'm fine. I was just mad at Yasmine and Ryan. They just pissed me off at lunch today. I just had enough of shit you know?"
"Yeah me too. Soo what's going on between you and new guy?"
"What?" Lacy said confused
"Oh come on Lace it's obvious you guys like each other"
"I see the way you guys look at each it's like you see shorting stars in each other's eyes."
"Stop it. We barely even know each other."
"Whatever you say"
The two girls walked into the living room
"Hey where's pizza" Logan asked
"Pizza hasn't came yet. But Abby's here"
"Well we're going to watch Goonies, since Halloween is coming up. Our Moms favourite. So your more than welcome to join"
"Speaking of my mom. Me and Logan was just talking about how we should set my mom up with someone. You know sometimes I think she gets lonely"
"That's actually a good idea lace"
Abby said nudging Lacy
"But where are you going to find this special someone for your mom?"
"I was thinking of online dating apps"
"Yeah like moms even going to agree on putting pictures of herself on a dating site"
"Well we have to think of something"
