Esmerelda POV

I am spending an entire day with Allyson. Other people are with us, but I can spend an entire day. I was so excited that I fell multiple times trying to get dressed when Allyson came to the house. I am still guilty of yelling at her at the door. She looks so beautiful, but even that word can't describe her.

About five minutes from the mall, Cameron called ahead and told the manager not to reveal our identities. We are the owners. We usually use this mall to buy clothes and whatever we want. Of course, it was in the house because we have that respect. There are a lot of members of our pack who work in the mall to get used to the human world. Most of the time, they are teen wolves that need to get out more, so they don't believe all humans are evil and hope to find their mate. I thought it was a good idea.

Soon, we arrived at the mall and parked in the valet parking lot. When we got out, we walked to the mall's main hall. The girls were astonished by the extraordinary interior. My eyes stayed on Allyson, and I couldn't take my eyes off her even if I wanted to. My protective nature flared up as I saw men looking at them. I could tell Carmen was feeling the same.

"Girls, we need dresses for the homecoming dance!" Jordyn said. I don't know how she can be this loud. I mindlink her to stop her from hurting my ears with her screechy voice. I don't see how Zavier can handle her, but I am happy he has his mate.

The other girls agreed to the thoughts. I spoke ", Homecoming?"

I shouldn't have questioned it because all the girls stopped in their tracks the next second. Carmen and I looked at each other, uneasy, and the girls slowly turned toward us like the scary ghosts in horror movies. I gulp and move from foot to foot as I await their response.

"Do you not know what homecoming is?" Jordyn said.

I shook my head, and the girls gasped. I look around, trying to figure out the big deal about the Homecoming.

Rebecca spoke, " Did you live under a rock or something? Homecoming is like the biggest dance in the whole world."

I beg the defer cause I can throw more lavant parties and events than a homecoming, I thought.

"Homecoming is where all the Juniors and Seniors can dance with their dates. Is it the biggest dance or event in the whole high school?" Allyson explained.

Suddenly, Allyson drags me toward the formal wear store. We walk into one of the dress stores, and the girls go to look for dresses. I walk to where the suits are and find something to wear. The Homecoming is in a few weeks, and I must be there as a senior. While looking for a suit, I noticed the girls conversing privately. I look at Carmen confused and decide to eardrop using my wolf ears.

"You need to break up with him," Rebecca said hushedly.

"I know, but I don't know who he is cheating on me with. How do I find out about that?" Allyson said. I can tell the sadness in her voice.

"I say we get revenge," Jordyn said bluntly, "Make him suffer."

Allyson and Rebbeca look at her, deadpan expression. "And how do you suggest that?" Rebecca asked.

Jordyn smirked, and I knew she had something in her mind that was mischievous.

"First, I suggest you start distancing yourself from him and hanging out more with someone else. Then, whenever he texts or calls, you always say you are busy. Then, the popular guys start flirting with you during school and try to get close to you. Then pretend you are going to the dance with him but change to go with someone else at the last minute. Then.... I would say pretend that you are cheating back, but you are not."
