What do you think will happen when James comes home??? 👀👀👀

"He's back, someone saw him today!" Jenna shouts at Ollie and I as soon as we walk through the door. We had been discussing my being asking out by Ethan, but apparently that conversation was now at an end.

"Who?" I asked, puzzled at Jenna addressing me without a sarcastic, mean or patronizing tone for once.

"James, stupid. Someone saw him in town today!"

"What!" Ollie shouts next to me, "Who saw him?"

"Some random girl from school, I don't know her name. She saw him parking his bike outside our house."

"That's great news." Ollie nudges my shoulder, expectantly looking at me to contribute to the conversation.

"Yeh, sure."

"Yeh, sure? That's all you have to say, you guys slept together, and that's all you have to say about him coming back," Jenna scoffs next to me. "If it had been me-"

"Oh we know quite well what would have happened if it had been you darling, we witness it every day."

"For the last time we didn't sleep together." I groan, interrupted their constant bickering and pushing past her heading straight for my room.

"I agree, there is definitely something fishy about that night." Dylan enters the room, planting his feet beside the delusional girl he's referring to.

"Ugghhh," Ollie groans. "I told Jenna to close her legs, or at least shower, otherwise, Dylan your right it starts to smell a bit fishy."

I stifle a laugh, but it doesn't work, and me and Ollie are barking with laughter, as Jenna turns the color of a beetroot.

"I still don't believe you." Jenna cuts in, still bright red, with Dylan patting her shoulder awkwardly.

"Would you believe me? We didn't sleep together; I would never let my standards drop that low Jenna, don't worry." A deep voice echoes out from the hallway.

"James!" She shrieks, god, does this girl have any dignity left in her? As she bounds up to him and wraps her arms around his waist tightly, I get the answer to my question.

"Where were you dude?" Dylan exclaims loudly, and they both do some sort of bro hug.

That they must have practiced, there was no way they could just telepathically sort that out, it was like a fricking routine.

"Your back." I say quietly, still standing by Ollie.

"Sure, although bit disappointed by the standard, as it seems like you didn't want to dress up for my arrival home. I advise maybe some makeup on to hide those dark circles. You clearly haven't been sleeping well." Excuse me!? He helps me coming home from a party, holds my hair back while I vomit, sleeps next to me, disappears, then comes back with a soul purpose to insult me!?

Now it's Jenna laughing, as she agrees "You are looking pale, maybe some concealer and foundation would do you some good, it would hide up your...interesting features." She smiles meanly.
