"Are you sure you want this son? Once you leave your position as chief you can not get it back. So are you sure you want to loose it for a random beastman/woman?"

"Yes mother.. as you know, I swore that the first being I mate with will be my mate for life.. Even, if I have to loose my position as chief of the arachnid tribe.."

"..."

"Very well then.. just come and visit sometimes.. and show me this beastman/woman who will be your forever.."

"Yes mother.. goodbye."

Y/N's POV

I open my eyes to be met with a wooden ceiling and light beams going through the curtains on to my face. I cover my eyes shielding my eyes from the light to adjust my eyes to the light and dark that is my room.

I get up out of bed stretching my bones and muscles, "This is the first time I've had a good sleep in a while." I say to myself with a slight smile creeping on to my face. Getting off my bed I head to the door of my room to spot a small spider in the corner of my room. Sudden flashbacks come to my mind make my cheeks blush a crimson red and I quickly leave the room. While walking to the dining area of the inn I calm myself to not seem weird to the people in the inn.

Arriving in the diner I take a seat at the counter waiting for Finch to come to take my order. He seems to be the only one running the inn, he must have a lot on his plate to work with. I stare at him and realized I was staring to much and making him uncomfortable. That would explain why he has been avoiding me this whole time I've been thinking to myself. So I look away so he can finally take my order because I'm freaking starving!

After a 30 minutes of starving I start to get annoyed because I'm the only one he refused to take order from. He doesn't have any orders to do either, I angrily stare at him as if I'm drilling a whole into his head. I finally call him over to take my order since he refused to acknowledge me and take my order, he can't ignore me now.

He walks over reluctantly and nervously asked me what I would like to order. Although with an annoyed face I say as kindly as I can could I take my order while holding my stomach in slight pain. He said in a apologetic tone "I'm so sorry for the wait sir/ma'am." Seeing I was starving because of him. I told him "I would like to have (whatever breakfast food you want that's NOT modern) and that will be all.. ugh... Lord help me.."

He, ignoring my cry for help from the Lord, finally took my order and started on it right away.

I sat at my seat feeling like I was fading away didn't want to seem like a "Karen" so I didn't complain about how long the food was taking.

I hear a clink and hear Finch's voice "Here's your food sir/ma'am, again so sorry for the wait." Not waiting to say thank you I dug into the food like I haven't eaten in days. And I haven't, my hunger only goes away once I level up, so I start shedding tears of joy after eating something I can actually taste.
