Y/N's POV

I woke up later in the evening the next day fatigued, 'That spider was really freaking me out.. I even lost sleep over it..' I thought to myself. "Maybe I should get Finch to do something about it." I say to myself as I head out of my room.

Slithering downstairs to the diner to get the free dinner that I get when staying at this somewhat comfortable inn.

I sit at one of the front counter seats and placing my arms on the counter. Strangely it seemed more empty that usually, like it was really empty. There was only Finch, me, and two others there, while yesterday there was like 15+ people here last night! "How very concerning.. hey Finch, where is everyone?" I ask while giving Finch my order.

Finch responded while making my food "Well as of late there has supposedly been a dungeon break at the Arachnid Dungeon, they say the dungeon mini boss came out of its boss room which caused the dungeon break." He continued, "I think they went to subjugate the monsters that broke out when the mini boss escaped, everyone in the adventurer's guild left this noon so you missed when the guild called everyone to help kill the mini boss." He said with a worried face "They haven't been back since, no messenger no nothing.."

I start to sweat thinking 'THAT THING WASN'T THE BOSS???!! HOW I ALMOST DIED???!' I responded with a slight studer "D-do you think they'll be okay?.." Finch looks at me with a wary face and said, "It's likely that most of them won't survive, reason being that this specific dungeon is a dungeon that starts out weak until you get to the fifth floor and that's where everything gets really dangerous! It's like it goes zero to one hundred within a second!.."

"OKAY, OKAY! I DON'T WANNA HEAR ANYMORE!" I said loudly covering my ears. 'I really was thrown into my own death bed when entering this world huh?..' I thought as Finch placed my plate and drink in front of me saying "It's alright, as long as it doesn't come here we'll be fine. Now eat up before it gets cold." I smiled at him before continuing to eat dinner.

A few moments later

Finally finishing my food I call Finch over to ask him a favor "Finch could you please get a spider outta my room? I couldn't sleep last night because of it.." Finch answer positively "Sure, I'll get it for ya."

While heading to my room Finch said a surprising sentence "Really, a spider huh? Weird, my inn doesn't usually have bugs or spiders. We always make it a point to kill them with fire hehe!" I responded with a slight laugh and said "And with the conversation we had earlier it's almost suspicious right haha?" We both laughed as Finch opened my room's door, you could notice that there were an unruly amount of spider webs in my room and we both went silent.

"WHAT THE H**L! MY ROOM WAS NOT LIKE THIS AN HOUR AGO!!??" I yelled putting my hands on my head, Finch looked at the mess in my room that could not have been caused but a regular spider.

"Uhhh, Y/N do you have a stalker of some sort perhaps because this could not have been done by a regular spider.." Finch said with a slightly worried face, "Um no I don't, at least I shouldn't.. right??.." I answered honestly looking at the abnormally large webs.

I grab Finch's arm tightly and look at him and say "RIGHT?!.." Finch flinches a little seeing something startling as he entered the room. Spelt with the webs said "My little worm, I hope your ready for your wedding. I've already made the dress so don't try to run!"

Finch asks "Are you getting married?.." I yelled "NO WAY! I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER GETTING IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH ANYONE!" we both look to the right to see a wedding dress that looked like it'd fit Y/N perfectly.

"How did they even get my measurements?.." I whispered to myself.

I realized something about all of these events, they're all connected to a spider.. which caused me to tremble. "I have to skip towns! Like right now!" I say which made Finch look at me with a confused face "Why?!"

"I think I know who made all this happen to my room, these events are much to close to not be who I think it is." I say while hurrying to grab my stuff from the room.

Finch was visibly confused which caused me to tell him somewhat the truth "So the Arachnid Dungeon, specifically the mini boss.. so I kinda did the devil's tango with him, but it wasn't even my fault! It was the people that I partied up with fault! They pushed me in the mini boss room knowing I don't have the strength to defeat the mini boss! They were trying to kill me! So I used my arousal magic.. and uh you can guess how that went..."

Finch's jaw dropped as soon as he heard devil's tango, so he realized quickly why I had to leave, like at this second. So he hurried me outta the Inn and gave me back the remaining money that I have yet to used for the rest of the nights and said "Hurry before midnight hits and leave the town! I also suggest going to the city to the north they don't discriminate against races!"

I slithered as fast as I could outta the town because of Finch's warning and advice. I made it outta the city in time before it was midnight, I stop before catching my breath. I look back to the city I was just in and saw it was gone I look around confused at where it went but as time went on my lively hood was at jeopardy. So I looked where I was and went north from there, which made me end up in a forest again. This time I cautiously looked around, scoping out traps set in the forest so I decided to travel by tree, which was genuinely safer than slithering on ground.

As I go tree from tree, the trees seemed to never end but unusual kept getting taller, sparse but dense with leaves which made it hard to see enemys and hard for me to traverse through trees. So I had to stop traveling by trees and travel on ground again. I sighed slithering through the strangely beautiful yet creepy woods.

A few more hours later

I decided to finally go to sleep because I going about to past out if not. I decided not to eat tonight because I needed to ration my food because resources are limited at the moment.

I lay down on the leaves with a blanket on top and pull another cover over my head trying to sleep in peace.

But...

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO SLEEP LIKE THIS WITH SO MANY EYES ON ME LIKE THIS???
