The first night Poland spent over at germanys House, it was actually forced by the weather. It was storming outside, completely undrivable - let alone unwalkable. So, since Poland was at germanys, she stayed over.
In the morning, Germany couldn't find Poland on the other side of the pillow wall they set up on the bed. (Both insisted the other sleeps in the bed so the solution was a pillow wall.)
When she got to the kitchen, she saw Poland making waffles. When asked why, she said she wanted to say thanks for letting her stay.
Germany never ate better waffles.
Lucy never did either, as Poland fed her one or two.
