"Avi, come on!" Danny shouted as he pulled Avi up from the cliff. The snow was picking up and it was difficult to see.

"We need to find shelter from the storm." Avi tried to speak over the roaring wind, and pointed towards a small cave.

The two of them set their bags down on the ground and Avi sighed as she pulled off her ski mask. Danny pulled out his lighter and set up a small fire for them to stay warm through the night.

"Oh my God I love you." Avi giggled and scooted closer to the warm fire.

"I'm flattered, but I'm taken."

"Hardy har har." Avi rolled her eyes and looked up at him. "How many do you think are still alive out there?"

"I don't know. I'd like to think there are others."

"But if there are, how can we know to trust them?"

"Avi, not everyone out there has bad intentions. If there's one thing I've learned about you, it's that you have an impeccable judge of character. I know you'll make the right call." Danny smiled and passed her a cookie he'd made at the base.

She chuckled and took a bite of the cookie, laying back against the wall. "You know, we've survived a lot together Danny. I'm proud of us."

"Me too. Here's to many more years. And adventures included." He grinned and held out his cookie in front of him, like a drink toast.

"To us." Avi smiled, meeting his cookie with hers.
