#### **ACT 1**

**IN A LUXURY HOTEL AT NIGHT**

*The camera pans across the elegant interior of a luxury hotel. Soft music plays in the background. We see glimpses of wealthy patrons and staff, unaware of the danger lurking among them.*

**[SFX: Elevator DING]**

*The elevator doors slide open, revealing **LUCAS** (20s, a sharp-dressed male assassin). He steps out, scanning the area coolly.*

**LUCAS**
(to himself)
Third floor. Corner suite. Simple in, simple out.

*Lucas walks with purpose, avoiding eye contact. He passes by a security guard, nodding politely.*

**IN A HALLWAY ON THE THIRD FLOOR**

*Lucas reaches the door of the target's suite. He reaches into his jacket, retrieving a silenced pistol.*

*Just as he's about to knock, the door behind him opens. **EVA** (early 20s, sleek and lethal) steps out of another suite. Their eyes lock for a brief moment, assessing.*

**EVA**
(surprised, whispering)
You?

**LUCAS**
(quiet, tense)
What the hell are you doing here?

**EVA**
Same as you.

*Lucas tightens his grip on his weapon. Eva slowly raises hers.*

**LUCAS**
How about we don't make a scene?

**EVA**
Agreed. We can settle this later.

*The door in front of Lucas suddenly opens. **MR. KIRK**, the target, steps out.*

**MR. KIRK**
(startled)
Who the—?

*Both Lucas and Eva quickly aim their guns at Mr. Kirk, but before they can fire, the sound of police sirens blares from outside.*

**LUCAS**
(to Eva)
Did you bring them?

**EVA**
Not my style. We need to move—now.

#### **ACT 2**

**IN A STAIRWELL - MOMENTS LATER**

*Lucas and Eva dash down the stairwell, the sounds of police filling the building. They exchange tense glances as they descend.*

**LUCAS**
You're getting sloppy.

**EVA**
(smirking)
I don't need advice from you.

*They reached the ground floor, only to hear footsteps approaching. Lucas and Eva stop abruptly, pressing themselves against the wall.*

**POLICE OFFICER (waiting outside)**
(faintly)
Search every floor. They're armed and dangerous.

*Lucas and Eva exchange a knowing look.*

**EVA**
Looks like we're in this together.

**LUCAS**
For now.

*They slip into the shadows, making their way toward the back of the building.*

#### **ACT 3**

**. In A HOTEL KITCHEN -**

*The kitchen is dimly lit and deserted. Lucas and Eva burst in, quickly assessing the room for exits. They spot a door leading to an alley.*

**EVA**
That's our way out.

**LUCAS**
(eying her)
Ladies first.

*Eva pushes the door open slightly, peering outside. She spots police officers patrolling the alley.*

**EVA**
(almost impressed)
They're thorough. Too thorough.

*Lucas grabs a knife from a counter, flipping it in his hand expertly.*

**LUCAS**
Got a plan?

**EVA**
We create a distraction. Then, we split up. Less heat on either of us.

*Lucas considers her, then nods.*

**LUCAS**
Fine. But if you get in my way again...

**EVA**
(smirking)
Same goes for you.

#### **ACT 4**

**Nearby HOTEL ALLEY - MOMENTS LATER**

*The door creaks open. Lucas and Eva dart out, splitting in opposite directions. Lucas throws the knife at a metal barrel, creating a loud crash. The police are immediately drawn to the noise.*

**POLICE OFFICER**
There! In the alley!

*Lucas ducks behind a dumpster, watching as officers rush past. Eva, on the other side, silently climbs up a fire escape, disappearing onto the rooftop.*

**LUCAS**
(to himself)
Nice move.

#### **ACT 5**

**On the HOTEL ROOFTOP - NIGHT**

*Eva reaches the rooftop, catching her breath. She looks around for an escape route but hears the creaking of the metal ladder. Lucas joins her on the roof, both breathing heavily.*

**EVA**
(half-joking)
Can't stay away?

**LUCAS**
Just wanted to see if you could make it.

*They both look out over the edge of the building, seeing more police below.*

**LUCAS**
We're surrounded.

**EVA**
(glancing at him)
What now?

*Lucas spots a nearby building with a narrow bridge connecting it to the hotel.*

**LUCAS**
We jump.

**EVA**
(shrugging)
Why not?

*They both take a running start and leap across the gap, landing on the other building's roof. They roll to their feet, barely making it.*

**LUCAS**
(smiling slightly)
We make a good team.

**EVA**
Don't get used to it.

#### **ACT 6**

** ABANDONED BUILDING At NIGHT**

*They find themselves in an old, abandoned building, dusty and forgotten. They quickly shut the door behind them, blocking it with debris.*

**EVA**
We'll be safe here for a bit.

**LUCAS**
Not for long. They'll search every inch of this area.

*Eva pulls out her phone, quickly checking for messages.*

**LUCAS**
Backup?

**EVA**
(scoffing)
Only if you call disappearing backup.

*They sit in silence for a moment, catching their breath.*

**EVA**
After this, we go our separate ways. Agreed?

**LUCAS**
Works for me.

*They sit back against the wall, tension still lingering but a mutual respect growing between them. The camera pulls back, showing them both in the dark, quiet room, waiting for the right moment to escape.*
