ACT 1

EXT. WOODED TRAIL - DAWN

Suddenly, they hear a faint sound ahead. They approach carefully, and as they round a bend, they find JENNA, badly injured and barely able to walk. She is slumped against a tree, looking desperate and weak.

ACT 2

EXT. WOODED TRAIL - CONTINUOUS

Jenna looks up at Lucas and Eva with a mix of fear and resignation. Lucas's initial reaction is one of anger and resolve.

LUCAS
(to Eva)
This is our chance to end this. We can't let her go.

EVA
(stepping in front of Jenna)
No, Lucas. There's already been enough death in this war

Lucas's face shows frustration as he grapples with Eva's intervention. He takes a step toward Jenna, who is trying to reach for something concealed.

JENNA
(weakly)
You... you don't have to do this. Just let me go. I won't come after you again.

ACT 3

EXT. WOODED TRAIL - CONTINUOUS

Lucas and Eva argue intensely, their voices rising.

LUCAS
(enraged)
You don't understand! She's a threat. If we let her go, she'll come after us again!

EVA
(defiant)
We're not monsters, Lucas! We can't just kill someone who's defenseless.

During their heated argument, Jenna manages to pull out a hidden dagger. She grips it tightly, trying to stay hidden from their view.

ACT 4

EXT. WOODED TRAIL - CONTINUOUS

The argument between Lucas and Eva reaches a breaking point. Jenna seizes the opportunity and suddenly lunges at Eva, using the weapon to stab her. Eva gasps in pain and collapses to the ground.

EVA
(screaming)
Lucas!

Lucas turns just in time to see Eva fall. His face contorts with horror and rage as he sees Jenna's sneering face.

ACT 5

EXT. WOODED TRAIL - CONTINUOUS

Lucas's grief and fury erupt into a violent rage. He charges at Jenna with unrestrained fury, his attacks relentless and brutal. Jenna tries to defend herself, but Lucas's rage overwhelms her.

LUCAS
(screaming)
You'll pay for this!

Jenna, struggling against Lucas's onslaught, tries to fight back but is clearly outmatched by his overwhelming anger.

ACT 6

EXT. WOODED TRAIL - CONTINUOUS

The camera captures Lucas's unstoppable fury as he continues to attack Jenna. His actions are wild and driven by pure rage, making it clear that his sense of loss has pushed him beyond reason. He beats Jenna beyond recognition

Finally, Jenna is defeated, lying motionless on the ground....but not dead Lucas, panting heavily and covered in sweat and blood, stands over her lifeless body.

ACT 7

EXT. WOODED TRAIL - LATER

Lucas collapses next to Eva's body, his anger and grief turning into overwhelming sorrow. He cradles Eva's lifeless form, his tears mixing with the dirt and blood.

LUCAS
(sobbing)
Eva... I'm so sorry. I couldn't save you.

The camera pulls back, showing Lucas's broken figure against the forest backdrop, highlighting his profound loss and the devastating consequences of their struggle.

ACT 8

EXT. WOODED TRAIL - NIGHT

Lucas, still in shock, prepares to leave the area with Eva's body. His movements are mechanical, driven by the need to honor her memory and find some semblance of closure.

LUCAS
(to himself)
I will make this right. I will keep going, for you.
