The umbrella academy had saved the world... supposedly.
Jane still felt like she was forgetting something really important to do with Vanya but shrugged it off as not important.
So unlike the others she drank at the house bar as they all worried and discussed Vanya s possible locations and more about how the world was supposed to end yada ya da.
A presence slowly joins Jane at the bar and instead of straight liquor like her they prepare a very fruity looking margarita.
That was being held by his strange mannequin lover.
"Well we did it." Five says to Jane who gives him a small glance and small smile. It truly felt nice being on the team and having solved something all together.
"Yeah....." Jane says still sounding unsure making Five look to her with a questioning raised brow.
"You don't think it over?" He asks like her and Jane shrugs taking an extra big swing of her vodka bottle. "...... I do it's just- this thing that I forgot that has to do with Vanya..... I remember it was really important but I can't seem to remember what it is..... I must have hit my head." Jane says with certainty taking another swing of the bottle but no matter how hard she tried to remember the memory didn't return to her.
"Well do you think we really did it? Think we actually stopped the apocalypse?" Five asks and Jane's face scrunches wondering who he was asking before noticing he was speaking to his..... non living lover.
And people called her crazy she bitterly thought but she simply rolled her eyes whatever made him happy.
"Now what?.... I don't know..... I'm open to suggestion." Five says to no one but leaving space where the mannequin was supposedly talking back to him.
A knocking behind Five and Jane make them turn around knowing it couldn't be anyone from the academy.... They lacked manners as is and definitely wouldn't knock in their own childhood home.
"Eh I'll get it." Five says and that's good because Jane didn't plan on moving as she grabbed some more liquor deciding she'd try some tequila now.
She just wanted to keep drinking the really strong stuff.
"Look Jane- company." Five sighs and turning around Jane goes wide eyes at the sight of Hazel pointing a gun at five before his eyes go to her aiming at her instead.
